P E R S O N A L I T Y

While perhaps coming across as innaproachable at first, Ilya has the best in mind for whomever he meets. Not the type to naturally go seeking out others, since past experiences have left him snappy and quick on the defensive, although he is quick to back out of any situation that might end up in a fight. He tries to help where he can, even if his personality sometimes gets in the way of doing just that.
If one were able to look past the anger, they'd meet a man that had tried and failed in life, and is now merely picking up the pieces.

A P P E A R A N C E

Even with several scars littered across his face, Ilya seems rather simple in appearance. A deep, but faded, scar that peeks out from just above his collared shirts makes it clear there are more across the rest of his body. Amber eyes spring out from the thick black stripe of ink covering a good portion of his skin, almost always securely behind a pair of glasses. Ilya's white hair is unkempt: it seems he puts little to no effort into making it look presentable. Unless doing something, his left arm is always limply by his side, while he talks animatedly with his right. He's seen often wearing the same earring.

C O M B A T

While currently refusing to fight, there was a time it was all Ilya did. Preferring the axe, even though capable of magicks, he would follow through with orders no matter the cost. These days, if forced into a situation he can't escape, Ilya prefers to fight from a distance accompanied by a codex, and seems particularly mindful to not take the life of anything - or anyone.

L I K E S ■ Flowers. Perhaps unexpected, Ilya carries a soft spot for almost all types of flower. His favorite would be the lily, although any bright colored flower would be enough to make his day. ■ Books. Having read most of his life, it's rare to see Ilya not within arms length of one. ■ Noise. Despite not quick to join in on conversation or seek it out by himself, Ilya enjoys being around the murmur of conversation, if only to drown out his own thoughts.

D I S L I K E S ■ Fighting / Combat. Due to terrible past experiences, Ilya is quick to avoid any situation that involves arguments or combat. Although capable of fighting himself, he seems adamant on avoiding it entirely. ■ Silence. Ilya does not particularly enjoy being left alone with his own thoughts - which happens often when there is nothing around to distract him from them.

F E A R S ■ Water. For seemingly no particular reason, Ilya seems very reluctant to go swimming. ■ Himself. Some things are better left alone.
