Her legs are long with supple, oft exposed thighs, and her torso is as long as everything else on her. Her hair, sandy and with slight wave, is often worn bound in a ponytail, curly bangs hanging low in her face, obscuring her left eye. Her lips are plump, and constantly moving as she is constantly talking --- eyes topaz colored, with a slight red hue. Her face is dotted with a few moles, and her skin is a slight mocha color. She stands slightly tall, with wasp waist and wide hips, seemingly athletic. Voice: Mela Lee as Three Clothing: Concerned with fashion, Ishtar's outfits are suited to a variety of scenarios depending on where she is. While often found in silks and revealing clothes dripping in gold and accessories, Ishtar is also known to dress less in Ul'Dah fashion when in different temperatures. --- A intuitive and sharp tongued woman with bold brows and a bolder sense of fashion, Ishtar is extravagantly sassy and known less for her dance and more for the wide amount of information she appears to know — a giggly and oftentimes vapid pub frequenter, Ishtar chats men out of their wallets and secrets, being paid to learn or divulge secrets in Ul'Dah’s underground. She's entirely greedy, and easily excitable, although much of her personality appears to be an easy going front so she can charm customers, other times she often appears to be irate and disengaged from those around her, seemingly vacant and reflective --- but, who knows. She could just be dreaming about gil. Ishtar presently saves a large amount of gil, despite her insistence upon nice gifts from her suitors and patrons. Commonly found glistening in gold, or opulent black silks, feathers, and couerl furs. While she is a knowledgeable and technical dancer, she seems to lack inspiration as a dancer --- this is due to her original study as a mage: her penchant for dance was merely attained as an occupation to gain gil, her primary fixation. Name Born to parents who operated at smugglers and thieves, their ventures brought them out of Thavnair into Ul'Dah, young Ishtar in tow. Using their daughter in their less than savory plans resulted in her detached, laissez-faire personality — until their inevitable arrest. Initially joining the other orphans in the streets of Ul'Dah, Ishtar quickly disassociated herself from the antics of her peers, sharpening her blade in secret and stabbing those around her in the back metaphorically until she matured into her looks. A student of the Ozzuary, Ishtar practiced and learned black magic, attempting to be a productive member of Ul'dahn society and taking advantage of her gift for magic --- until, her beauty got her noticed. Being plucked off the streets by a mistress, she was recruited for a dancing troupe, the "Black Lapin". Donning characteristic black ears, the group worked under the mistress for her high paying clientele, which consisted of wherever the imagination would go. Eventually, Ishtar betrayed the trust of her troupe and meandered off with the clientele list, exploiting the patrons one by one and exposing and selling their secrets to one another --- this eventually brought her the need to lay low for a bit, having angered the wrong noblewoman after exposing his numerous affairs with their miqo'te waitstaff. Finding a Tavern in the depths of Gridania, Ishtar allied herself quickly with a mercenary group, thinking protection would be easy if she meandered their trust. Applying as a dancer, Ishtar became a member of the Dragon's Crown, working the tavern (i.e, missing shifts) and occasionally performing when not burrowing in her egregious, shadowy activity. Politics within the group became rife, and upon being asked to perform in a troupe once again, Ishtar's past traumas came to a bulk. It wasn't that she -wanted- to betray the Black Lapin, but rather, she had no choice --- Because of Ishtar's beauty and persona, the other girls in the group began to ostracize and treat her poorly, breaking her things and attempting to embarrass her on stage with choreography changes that would make Ishtar look like she was a blunder. Catching wind of this, Ishtar set the curtains of a show ablaze with thamauturgy, burning down the stage house by accident. Making off with the clientele list, she lived in perpetual fear of the mistress getting her revenge. Feeling as if Dragon's Crown was going to be a repeat incident, Ishtar left in the night, emptying the place of her belongings and running back to the Ozzuary to continue her studies as a thamauturge --- in her reading, she had discovered something that could dispell her fears, and began a hunt for an unspecified artifact, trailing across the globe on the run to find it and the voidsent sealed inside. Her thirst for beauty replaced with one of power, Ishtar sought to protect herself from whispers on the street of her impending demise. Her reputation as a informant came to precede her. A roegadyn woman who had frequented the Dragon's Crown eventually came to seek Ishtar's services. Allying herself with the Obsidian Court, Ishtar infrequently appears to aid them in their machinations, aiding them with her growing magic while hunting for treasure.
