General Info

Appearance

Short even for a Lalafell, Jajara Jara makes up for it somewhat with a stout and surprisingly muscular frame: a detail often overlooked given her race's inherent rotundity. Her skin is dark and, while unmarked by scars, bears a stylized and possibly ritualistic tattoo across her face in reddish ink which gives her an almost intense appearance when also taking vibrant nearly flame-orange eyes into account. Her hair takes on hues of reds and violets and is worn fairly short and tied into two braids at her neck.

The clothing she preffers is loose fitting and easy to move in. She has little taste for the fineries of silk and lace.

Personality & Philosophy

Generally good natured almost to the point of being naive, Jajara is quick to trust most anyone who isn't holding a weapon to her throat. She holds personal honor and promises to be paramount, as while Ul'dah may be a city that runs on secrets and gil, a person is nothing if they cannot be trusted with either. The city itself mystifies her: so alive, so majestic, a place of stone and air towering over the dunes! Nothing like the beast-borne huts she travelled with before coming to Ul'dah. She is a TERRIBLE liar. One day, she aspires to become a master goldsmith.

While she does not necessarily worship the Twelve with any sense of fervor, she and her family have traditionally honored both Oschon the Wanderer and Byregot the Builder.

Combat

Jajara prefers physical combat over magic, having little to no talent with spells. Instead, she has spent much of her time training as a pugilist. Someday, however, she dreams of mastering the lance.

• She might tell people she is an excellent cook, but this is a lie.

Relationships

Family

Until recently, Jajara Jara had been travelling with a small nomadic caravan that included her mother, an uncle, and several of siblings and cousins. Her father and other aunts and uncles had presumably perished at the Calamity.

Friends

Having freshly arrived in Ul'dah, Jajara has yet to make any meaningful friendships with anyone. Time will tell...

Likewise, she has yet to make any enemies. With luck, it will remain that way.
