Little Tidbits/Offsite Fun
Being a Hybrid between Lalafell and Miqo'te, Kitten possesses Miqo'te ears and a long, fluffy white tail. She is a runt who stands just below eye level to the shortest of Lalafell around her (IE: the in-game model) being 2'5" tall.
Her hair is pure white and, from a distance, seemingly sparkles in the sunlight. She has dyed parts of her hair pink, as it is her favorite color. She lacks eyebrows, so tries to be animated to express how she is feeling... but when she is idle, she'll always look as though she has a vacant, distant look in her eyes. Both eyes are as pink as her hair, and they convey a warm feeling of love and compassion to those who stare into them. Additionally, Kitten has a single tooth that sticks out constantly from her upper left lip. It is small, but noticeable when she is idle... but when she smiles, it pokes through even more. She occasionally bites her lip, but she's quite used to the odd tooth, so it doesn't happen very often. Finally, given her nickname "Kitten", Kitten has painted a set of whiskers on her cheeks. Overall, she takes great care to make her face as cute and loving as possible, as it matches her personality.
Her shoulders are narrow while her hips are wide, causing her to have a pear shape. Her skin is fair and soft, seemingly devoid of blemishes, scars or cuts. She has strong muscles, but her skin looks very smooth rather than muscly. Her butt and thighs are larger than an average Lalafell's, attributing further to the pear shape she has. Her chest and belly are influenced by a number of spells that were cast on her, and they will change if she removes a magical sash she wears around her tummy.
The Sash & Kitten's Spells
The sash she wears is white and often worn under another piece of fabric. The cloth sash has elastic properties and cannot be torn. There is an aetherical presence upon the sash, and anybody actively looking for an aetherical presence would detect it. The sash constantly drains Kitten of her excess aether. It also stops the spells affecting her body from activating. If she removes the sash, the effects of the spells will be active once again, but will take a number of hours to come into full effect.
Without the effects active, Kitten will look like a fairly typical Lalafell, except she has more of a pear-shaped body and she's a little fluffier around certain areas. She usually wears the sash when she is going on an adventure, when she wants to dress nice, when she wants to run around, or when she otherwise doesn't feel like enduring the effects generated by the spells.
With the sash off, Kitten's body will swell outwards until she looks like she's full term with an Elezen child. The spell forces her to endure all the effects one's body would have if they were actually pregnant, without having an actual child inside. Additionally, her body fills with a ton of aether similar to the effects of a monk's "second wind" technique, allowing her to tap into the excess aether to continue fighting with aether if necessary.
Kitten will sometimes forego wearing the sash because she comments that she 'likes it' and 'sometimes it's convenient to have a portable table'.
Aspects That Stand Out:
■ Her Miqo'te ears and tail. A typical Lalafell does not have these. They can easily be mistaken for accessories (such as the fox ears everyone wears), but Kitten's are 100% real.
■ Her height. The top of her head is around eye level for the shortest average adult Lalafell.
■ Her overbite. She has a large, semi-sharp tooth that sticks out constantly from her left upper lip. It is more visible when she is smiling, but when she has a straight face, one can still spot the tip of it sticking out from her lip.
■ Her chest size. It can vary from unnoticeable (typical Lalafell) to a-cup breasts on a Miqo'te. If she is wearing her sash, it will be the former.
■ Her pear shape, due to her narrow shoulders, wide hips and big thighs
■ Her arched back. Only applies if she's not wearing her sash. Her back will be arched forward and she'll suffer from back pains. This will be more obvious when she is wearing something that isn't a dress.
■ Her belly. If she is wearing her sash, she'll be a little pudgy because of her eating habits, but otherwise be fairly typical for a Lalafell. If she removes her sash, she'll look like she's pregnant to term with an Elezen child. She will be unable to see down in front of herself and she'll struggle with looking down around her sides. She will also be unable to run, instead having to waddle wherever she goes.
About
Not much is known about Kitten from before her amnesia, but what is presently known is: she enjoys learning as much as she can, making her a bit of a jack of all trades. She still has much to learn, but every day is a new learning opportunity and she tackles it head on! She doesn't like to say no to new opportunities, even if they seem potentially dangerous.
She spends her time camping in the wilderness, something she enjoys tremendously, and she happily welcomes visitors and is prepared to feed, shelter, and entertain them... so long as they bear no ill intent towards her. Presently she has made a semi-permanent residence in the Ruby Sea atop one of the pillar-like islands, and she is constructing a stone oven as well as a small wooden shack for unknown purposes.
■ Friend, foe, or complete stranger, she WILL approach you and she WILL offer you a brownie!
■ Hugs, cuddles and smooches are all ways of her showing affection for her friends. She does not appear to have a devoted love interest for any one specific person, but plenty of people crush on her because of her affectionate ways.
■ She will pretend to be dead to avoid conversation when she's in a bad mood.
■ She WILL find you if you are someone who doesn't like to interact with people, and she WILL drag you around to make you meet people!
■ She makes a LOT of bad puns. You have been warned!
■ She always bathes with a bathing suit on when in a public area, such as the Kugane springs.
PERSONALITY
Kitten has been given the nickname "The Love Fairy of Eorzea" because she is so talented at bringing people together and starting relationships.
She is seemingly always happy, and she has no problem sharing that joy with others around her. Whether it means cheering someone up after a bad day, being there for someone when they feel alone, or even recharging the batteries of a stranger with a kind discussion, she is always on the lookout to make everyone as happy as possible.
Kitten can seem oblivious, or even dimwitted at times. She often doesn't recognize when someone has intentions to harm her, and she will ask questions with painfully obvious answers. One must wonder if she does this because she truly does not know, or if it's a part of her way of keeping people happy. Some are prone to believe it is the former, as she is often observed as having a distant, vacant look in her eyes when she is asking these questions.
While Kitten can be super playful and cuddly, she also knows when it's time to be serious. Whether she is trying to save a life, or hunting for food, or she is a part of an expedition with her friends, she knows when to put a lid on it and to put her game face on. She is sharp as an arrow and always aware of her surroundings, especially if lives depend on it.
When depressed or alone, she has a tendency to eat to pass the time or to get through hardship. As a cook, she is able to create her own confections... but she doesn't always do this and will sometimes seek out the nearest bakery to indulge quickly. She will also play her flute, but she seems to do that less and less these days.
Kitten doesn't like cursing, and she tries to get her friends to stop cursing around her. She is not offended by it, she simply thinks it's inappropriate. To those who know her, they know that when she curses herself, it means she is very upset, angry or otherwise tired of beating around the bush.

Kitten currently is not a very capable combatant with melee weapons. She is slowly learning, but she is still very bad at it. Due to her weight, she must rely on longer blades because they have reach.

Please note: I am not interested in dismemberment or extreme gore, but I am willing to play out injuries for a long period of time (depending on the injury).
■ Freeform / Honor System: This is my preferred form of combat, because it allows players to play out their characters the way they envisioned them. This is a non-dice system and relies entirely on expecting each other to be fair and treat it like a real battle. Note: Some players have been completely unfair with this system and have dodged or outright ignored every single action I've made. If you are someone who is prone to doing this, not only will I stop battling you, but I may also stop role playing with you altogether.
■ Do You Feel Lucky Punk?: Dice system. I really, really, really dislike using dice because it can make even the strongest of warriors seem like they're using their weapons for the first time ever. However, I understand the need to use dice if a quick battle is desired and people don't have a lot of time to role play. The way this works is: each player rolls when an attack is made; the attacker is rolling attack, and the defender is rolling defense. The winning roll determines if it is a hit or miss, and a 700+ difference in the rolls counts as a critical (IE: 2 damage instead of 1). Players will determine how much health each other will have at the start of the battle. Short battles = 3 - 5 health.

I have a very clear distinction when it comes to IC and OOC; They must remain separate at all times if we are to RP together. I reserve the right to end interactions should this be impeded upon. I've been in far too many situations where people think that my character's IC feelings towards someone's character are OOC feelings I have for the player. If my character dislikes your character that does not mean I, the player, dislike you, the player. I am not my characters and they are not me. Respect this and we shall get along famously.
Personal RP Limits
I'm usually pretty open to all kinds of RP, as I do not like to tell people they can't RP their characters the way they desire. I do have some limits however, and I expect these to be respected - just as I will respect yours:
■ I will play Almost anything that isn't described below.
■ I won't play Death, Rape, Dismemberment, Extreme Gore, Extremely Dark RP, ERP-Only Plots. I don't mind romance but it needs to be earned over time. Do not try and force your character on to mine. Also, while I enjoy having antagonists in my character's stories, I am not interested in people who behave like stalkers. I have been in IRL situations like this and it is extremely unsettling when people mimic those traits in RP.

Little Tidbits.
■ If you have an issue with something I'm doing, tell me! No seriously, tell me, tell me, tell me! I have had far too many friendships broken because people refuse to approach me when something upsets them. This causes people to bottle up their issues until they explode and verbally assault me. I will NOT be offended if there is something you want to talk to me about! I prefer to settle issues immediately rather than allow them to build up into something much worse over time.
■ Don't criticize me constantly. I might ask for criticism every once in a while, but when people start telling me my plots are stupid, my character behaviors are stupid, or generally point out every single perceivable fault with my character, it stops being criticism and becomes bullying. If you do this, you will quickly become someone I will want to cease interacting with.
■ If you are interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with my character, be prepared for it to take a while, both because my character can be dimwitted and fail to take hints, and because I don't care for hasty relationships. I want Kitten to be with someone who truly, honestly loves her... not someone who has a passing interest.

I'm usually the one doing the walk-ups, but if you are doing so to me, here are a few observations your character can make:
■ Hybrid. Obviously. How often do you see Lalafell with Miqo'te ears and a tail?
■ If encountered in the wilderness, she is always singing a pleasant melody when by herself. If your character likes or dislikes music, they can ask her to sing for them or kindly tell her to shut the hell up.
■ Because of the rumors surrounding her, she is portrayed as being someone who is extremely kind and loving. If your character badly needs a hug, she'll happily help you out!
