Leander Prideblade - A gentleman, charming and playful, would be how most first perceive this Miqo'te. Born a street urchin, clawing and fighting just to survive with his brother in the streets of Ul'dah. Fate separated he and his brother, but also landed him in the embrace of a kind, noble family. Groomed, tutored and trained to be the heir of the noble merchant house, he fell into this role well. Humbled by his beginnings and molded by the kind hands of mother, father, and teachers, he was the man that he was now. However, no life is devoid of tragedy, he had his share through his new life, pushing him away from the plush nobleman life. Drawn in by the call of adventure, he set out into the world, seeking to expand mind and body by learning new things and jumping into danger.

Appearance

Hair: Long dirty blonde. He keeps his bangs down but the back is always tied up in a pony tail by a blue ribbon.

Eyes: Light blue, much like looking into crystal clear waters.

Build: Nearly every day of his life was spent training in some fashion, which led to his built frame, not overly muscular, but very defined.

Voice: He carried an deep accent but spoke in cheerful tones, hardly ever letting any emotions break through his calm and playful demeanor. (Sounds much like Balthier from FFXII)

Style: He prefers to wear light clothing, open shirts, kecks and jackboots. He often wears a brown duster coat over his normal cloths, using it as the only armor he tends to wear. He mainly sticks to earthy colors, mostly brown and leather, but when the occasion did occur, he wasn't afraid to wear something bright or festive.

Misc: He kept a small chin strap of facial hair and always kept his hair well-groomed. He was prideful, in his appearance and always was immaculate, even when adventuring, but he was not afraid of getting dirty.

Personality

Charming and pleasant to be around, there are times where he can be very quiet and focused on something that he doesn't seem social, but that is not the case. Outgoing and friendly to all whom deserve such, he will always make and effort to be known in the room. His playful nature could quite frequently be mistaken as flirting, sometimes he did but mostly it was him joking and having a good time. Coming from the streets he knew what it had been like not having money, so when he runs into those down on their luck and undeserving of such luck he often reach's out, if allowed.

Don't mistake the kind and playful Miqo'te as a pushover, when times called to be serious he managed quite well with a solid head on his shoulders. He hardly ever angered but when he was it was seen in the sarcastic smirk and in his eyes.

The Red Mage

Overview: First and foremost, Leander was a swordsman and he had trained all his life, it was art to him and he was a master. He stuck with one style for the most part but he loved all styles and learned most, or jumped at the chance to learn new styles. Generally he had learned to fight with all manners of weapons, but was suited to swords for quick movements. He was also well learned in the magic arts, which he enjoyed just as much as his sword work, but he wasn't quite as gifted at it as he was in swordsmanship. What he did know of magic he liked to mix in with his sword work, giving him the ability to adapt to many situations.

Strengths: Obviously his strength was melee combat with a sword, while he wasn't as gifted with magic as others might be, he weaved spell and sword together quite well. He is quick, agile, and very intelligent, often over taking foes with speed rather then brawn. In one on one duels he has "YET" to be bested and although he doesn't brag, he's quite proud of the fact.

Weakness: While he is quick agile and intelligent, he was not focused on strength and when it came to battles of strength he often lost. He wasn't very skilled with other weapons either, due to his focus on the sword, he was an above average marksman, but when pushed he couldn't fire a bow to save his life.

Friends, Acquaintances and Associates

♥ Kassandra Dawn - A Sunseeker woman he had met during an event for the Blue Skies adventuring company. After several fortuitous meetings, he offered to teach the woman his sword style. Days and days of early morning training the two had formed a bond and have became quite enamored with each other. If he wasn't out adventuring on his own, he was seen in her presence quite often.

• Endemerrin Rosethorne - Leader of the Blue Skies adventuring company and quite the character. At first Leanders curiosity for Magitek brought the two of them together to talk about such things, he enjoys the man and sees him as a kindred spirit, hoping to learn quite a bit from him.

• Saitou Yoshida - Soliloquy's Hyur bartender, that's about all that Leander knows of the man, but so far he enjoys his company and his promptness to fill a wine glass.

• Abaigeal Causland - Waitress, Entertainer of Soliloquy? The highlander woman is an interesting one, every time he visits the bar she's a bright red color and someone is teasing her. It seems to him that she is quite fond of being teased.

• Xenedra Ambreaus - Owner of Soliloquy and merciless tormentor of Abaigeal Causland. He hasn't had to much contact with her other then her games and through her bar.
