As she lived most of her life in Kugane, she speaks the local language (Japanese), with some Garlean accent. While she can speak Eorzean as well, she is not too good at it. She can write (but not without errors) and she can draw, especially weapons and projects. Clothing: She usually wears shorts or a mini skirt, with an added belt pockets on her thigh, and large leather boots. Leather gloves if needed. A yellow, slightly large fitted top, and either suspenders or bandolier, depending on what she is doing. A handmade black hat shaped like a weird rabbit head is often used to cover her miqo'te ears, she also wears goggles on it, needed during work. Jewelry is surely not on the expensive side, she wears a choker with the Garlemald symbol on it, and handmade bracelets and earrings, made out of gears and working tools. A yellow/black scarf is completing her outfit, sometimes pulled up and used like some kind of mask. Look: Petite miqo with blonde hair, messy styled, with bangs cut uneven. Her eyes are yellow, with vertically slit pupils and dark circles under them. She has pronounced, cat-like canine teeth from her Keeper's heritage. She looks like she could be 16 y.o. but in fact she is much older, as it could be guessed from her gunsmith expertise. However, she won't tell her age, mostly because she doesn't like to adult and finds it fun to be treated like a kid. "One day, I'll grow a soda garden." General: She is usually cheerful when working or doing what she loves, but changes completedly and turns hostile and silent when in company of strangers or people she doesn't like. She clearly shown signs of being mentally unstable and insecure. She is also used to take advantage of the situation, by taking the opponent by surprise or when they are busy dealing with someone/something else. Kids like to explore, kids be kids. Past -4 to 10- Now, the Garleans are not really liked in Eorzea, yet they ain't all evil. That man, Rufus quo Nomus, simply felt his heart melting at the sight of this scruffy, tiny, dirty 'lil miqo'te. He was returning from a simple field training duty with his union, when he saw this kid, lying on the ground, her little body shaken by a seizure. He cared for her, and then took her with him. Such a handsome, courageous man he was. A tall, muscular Hyur with red hair and red long beard. Many partners he had in his life, but no one ever managed to capture his heart like this kid did in the blink of an eye. Vita, that's how he called her, because together they started a new life. Vita (Mikan) grew up among the Garleans, there was a lot of talk about weapons, war, magitek. The first time she got hold of a gun, she looked carefully at it and then disassembled it, under the surprised eyes of her 'dad'. That made it clear what she would do for a living. At that point, Rufus was an old veteran promoted to a more chill job, and sent to Kugane. Mikan was approximately 10 years old then. Past -10 to 20- In Kugane she lived a lonely but fulfilling life, working in some kind of garage in which she would build and repair any kind of weapon and war contraption. In her free time, she would invent and create more or less useful gadgets. The name Mikan was given to her by an old lady in Kugane. Mikan built some kind of odd tea kettle for her, and the old lady said the tiny miqo smelled like a tangerine, and gave her the nickname "Mikan". She made herself useful to the Garleans, obtaining the citizenship and the title of 'cen'. Sure it wasn't anything so special, but she was somehow proud of it. More Recently Later on, she decided to start using the name Mikan and somehow felt forced to hide her Garlean's attachment, due to the hatred towards them. After the premature death of her 'father', she started to roam more freely around Hingashi and eventually farther away.
