As she lived most of her life in Kugane, she speaks the local language (Japanese), with some Garlean accent. While she can speak Eorzean as well, she is not too good at it. She can write (but not without errors) and she can draw, especially weapons and projects. Clothing: She usually wears shorts or a mini skirt, with an added belt pockets on her thigh, and large leather boots. Leather gloves if needed. A yellow, slightly large fitted top, and either suspenders or bandolier, depending on what she is doing. A handmade black hat shaped like a weird rabbit head is often used to cover her miqo'te ears, she also wears goggles on it, needed during work. Jewelry is surely not on the expensive side, she wears a choker with the Garlemald symbol on it, and handmade bracelets and earrings, made out of gears and working tools. A yellow/black scarf is completing her outfit, sometimes pulled up and used like some kind of mask. Look: Face claim: Mami Sasazaki Petite miqo with blonde hair, messy styled, with bangs cut uneven. Her eyes are yellow, with vertically slit pupils and dark circles under them. She has pronounced, cat-like canine teeth and Japanese like features from her mixed heritage. She looks like she could be 16 y.o. but in fact she is much older, as it could be guessed from her gunsmith expertise. However, she won't tell her precise age, mostly because she doesn't like to adult and finds it fun to be treated like a kid. "One day, I'll grow a soda garden." General: She is usually cheerful when working or doing what she loves, but changes completedly and turns hostile and silent when in company of strangers or people she doesn't like. She clearly shown signs of being mentally unstable and insecure. Positive: Creative, Dynamic, Charming, Skillful, Capable, Curious, Cute, Inventive, Enthusiastic. Once at distance, she gives her best with the use of her guns and weapons. Her knife might be used to finish her opponent, or out of desperation. She is also used to take advantage of the situation, by taking the opponent by surprise or when they are busy dealing with someone/something else. An old mixed heritage ...Her family moved to Doma ages ago, from before the Miqo'te generally fled Meracydia. Her mother was a rebellious mixed Miqo'te. Upon the Garleans started ruling over Doma, she was getting more and more convinced that the Garleans were somehow some god-like, superior race. She never listened to the wise advice of her family, and one day she left on her own decision to serve the Garleans in one of their Doman outposts. Her Past Her father was a Garlean man who fell for the cute Miqo'te woman. Mikan was born from their consumed passion. Sadly, the woman didn't live a long prosperous life, and died a few years later to a lethal disease. The man decided to take care of the little kid, who somehow turned into some kind of cute mascot of the outpost. With time, she made herself useful to the Garleans, obtaining the citizenship and the title of 'cen'. Sure it wasn't anything so special, but she was somehow proud of it. More Recently As time goes by, it became clear that her physical condition would not allow her to serve in the military ranks, however, she was a natural born mechanic with a knack for guns and explosives. Once the outpost was no longer a safe place for her to be, she started working in some kind of garage/lab in Kugane, where she basically now lives full time.
