Kill Moon, Moermoen Ostyrammsyn; father: A kind and big-hearted bull of a Roegadyn. More bark than bite in his old age, Kill Moon has taken up crafting jewelry and small trinkets out of the precious stones he mines out of the volcanic mountains to support his small family. In a past life, he traveled the city-states wielding a broad-axe and participating in great feats of adventure and heroism.. or so he boasts.

Kill Moon loved his daughter greatly, and constantly gifted her with books, scrolls, and tomes that he gathered from trading his crafts to feed her exponentially growing curiosities. He greatly supported Murlona through her accusation as a Blan Thuba and heretic, going so far as to aid in her escape from Dravania at his own risk. Murlona has no knowledge of what has become of her father. She keeps the old name completely intact in his honour.

Violet Chariot, Keimraet Niuglacwyn; mother: Beautiful and pious, Murlona's mother believes firmly in the traditions and responsibilities passed down to the Hellsguard. She has never left the familiarity of the tribe and continues practicing the old ways of Wyzn Thubyr that have been passed down from the generations. Her prowess in the healing magic arts has granted her high respect and authority amongst the others. She abhors any practice that threatens the Twelve or the sanctity of the Gate of Hell, including alchemy, summoning, and magitek. When Murlona's alchemy experiments are exposed, Violet Chariot is adamant about sacrificing her to the Twelve and the Guardian of Hell for her blasphemy. She has made no effort to chase after her daughter since her escape.

Companion

Mikhail: Chocobo acquired shortly after attaining modest wealth in Limsa Lominsa. He is considered very dear to Murlona. He is named after one of the mystical dragons whom guard Dravania.

Occupation and Skills

Gathering and Crafting: Pays for her livelihood, studies, and travels. Developed survival skills in botany and fishing and used the yields to continue practicing her alchemy. Murlona is also a wonderful chef, mostly due to the atmosphere she immersed herself into in Limsa Lominsa. She continues to hone all of her gathering skills to self-fund her alchemical studies and advancements. When asked what profession Murlona is, she will say Scholar [not the Job; a learned or erudite person, esp. one who has profound knowledge of a particular subject]

Magic and Battle: Under Violet Chariot's teachings, Murlona became accomplished with white magic from an early age. She has since attained official recognition as a White Mage and is proficient with both staff and scepter in both magic and enough melee to fend for herself. Through her self studies, she has familiarity with black, arcane, and summoning magics. Her proficiency with melee weapons is severely lacking, though entirely due to lack of training and not lack of capability or strength.

Magitek Engineering: Murlona temporarily studied, participated in, and performed Ceruleum extraction and manipulation. Murlona has no engineering or mechanical capabilities.

In depth

Murlona's physical attributes could be described as being between average and feminine. Though sporting a brow line that promotes a perpetual scowl-like appearance, she shows a depth of emotion through her face. She can be seen constantly making what seem to be comical faces while reading, in deep thought, or when working through a problem. Her nose is maybe larger than average, but looks appropriate to balance out her thin face. Her mouth is small, but her lips are shapely and Murlona prefers to have them clean. Her eyes are large and expressive, but the colour of them are unusual, hovering in the range of the thistle flower in ice. Neither her father, mother, nor any family member in memorable history have had such eyes. Her mother always believed and boasted that for the colour of such a fair but nearly impregnable flower to be in the eyes of the steeled Hellsguard to be a blessing of Nophica.

Murlona has her mother's hair, a deep byzantium with black undertones. Worn long since she was a child, her hair has a natural light and fluffy feel and look. At certain times, one could almost mistake her wispy unkempt pieces as long feathers. Though not necessarily one for accessorizing or keeping up with her appearance, Murlona will sometimes act on her fancies and enjoys putting odd baubles and trinkets in her hair such as flowers, jewels, or furs. During experiments, studying, cooking, or whenever she feels her hair can be an annoyance, her hair is kept in a messy high bun.

Nowhere near muscular, Murlona is only as tall and big as her genes. She does not have the battle-worn body familiar to her mercenary brethren as her training has been mental for all of her life. She shouldn't be considered out of shape, however, as her travels have taken her very far on foot. Her medium-to-dark skin tone is hereditary as both her parents had deep russet toned skin.
