Basic Info
Piers Hayward is a young man from the Twelveswood who's current concern is sending money back home to his family. Setting his sights were on Ul'dah, Piers hadn't even been in Thanlan for more than a day before he found himself broken and battered by a lone Amalj'aa. Since then, he's grown to be reasonably competent in a fight thanks to the tutelage he's received in swordsmanship. He makes his living working odd jobs for whoever will hire him.

Appearance & Personality
- With a strong back and broad shoulders, Piers has a classic farm boy look about him. When not clinking around in chain mail, he is often dressed casually in something that works equally well for relaxation or manual labor. He carries himself confidently, but a near constant look of curiosity and wonder betrays how unaccustomed he is to being outside of the Twelveswood. The same can be said about his personality: as no-nonsense as he likes to present himself, Piers can't help himself when it comes to joking around. He can be stubborn when faced with conflict, and will sooner stand his ground than back down. Above all, Piers hates nothing more than being told he can't do something.
