A tiny Hellsguard with a mind for research and more smarts in her head than she realizes. Still young, with time to unlock her true potential on her quest for knowledge. There is very little that Olive is not interested in, and very few conversations she does not want to have. There is a genuine love for the world and almost everything in it that sits within her. Of course, this is buried under layers of Roegadyn pride and clumsy mannerisms.

♦ Appearance

"I am a sadly soft Roegadyn." Olive is dwarfed by most Roegadyn and many an Elezen too. For a giantess, she is not so giant at all. On top of this, there is little muscle on her body. She may be able to lift a small Miqo'te for a short period of time, or pull back the string of a light bow. But, it is clear looking at her that she is not capable of much more.

On a day to day basis, Olive's appearance does not change much. She has a small selection of simple clothing that she wears, in an even smaller selection of colors. True to her name, she is stuck on shades of green. There is only one scar in her skin, which is prominent. It cuts across the top of her nose and into her eyebrow. Other than this, the most notable identifying features she has are the two green tattoos on her cheek and a body full of dark freckles. The shaved parts of Olive's head limit her to one hairstyle, but she does not seem to mind this. Instead, she embraces it, happy to be stable in her look. Last, her vision is poor and she requires glasses. Though she has recently been able to afford herself a better pair, before this, she wore the same ones from the time that she had fourteen namedays to call her own.

♦ Behaviour

There are many quirks to Olive's behavior. To begin, she has a poor memory for faces. She is able to recall facts and events fine. Yet, unless an individual has features that she can latch onto (such as a unique voice, memorable clothing, or a distinctive facial feature), she will have difficulties figuring out who they are. Even when she could put all of this together, even a slight change in appearance from someone will throw her. To combat this, in light of her pride, Olive often pretends to remember who someone is as they start to converse with her. She will try to use context clues to piece it together along the way. Sometimes this works, and other times, it crashes and fails.

Aside from this, Olive is clumsy and has poor organizational skills. The satchel that she carries at her side is often an explosion of books and paper. She is ambidextrous, but her handwriting is equally poor with both hands. The only things that Olive is able to neatly solve and understand are geometries and vectors. She tends to think and write in straight lines and shapes.

■ Begun to make regular treks up to the city of Ishgard, in an attempt to provide assistance to individuals in the Brume.

■ Received a grant from an unspecified source to rent room for a small library and begin providing aid.

■ Pestered any others that she can find to join her cause, hoping to create a reliable team.

■ Begun practicing arcanima. While she is adept with the practice when able to read over the geometries, she does not have them perfectly memorized.

Friends ● Grymoefyra Fyrilwyn - Though Olive had initially attempted to court Fyra out of the Wench late one evening, she found herself far more impressed with the girl's personality than her appearance. Since then, Fyra has been a close confidant and a friend. Her more carefree and romantic nature has challenged Olive to be more considerate of her own thoughts and feelings. ● Istelle Arbeau - The clearly false noble Duskwight Elezen that has harassed Olive from her first day in Ul'dah. Part of the reason that the girl hates the city, Istelle was able to figure out that Olive's facial recognition was poor. And, thus, she set herself on a quest to repeatedly steal Olive's wallet. Successful every time, Olive came to hate Istelle, at first. Yet, despite her malicious ways and her dubious habits, Istelle has done more for Olive than any other person in her life. Olive hates how much she appreciates her. ● Jakob Baneblade - It is hard to determine if Olive has an interest in Jakob, or if the interest is in his Magitek armor. Perhaps, her fascination lies in the fact that there is no pressure to remember his covered face. No matter what it is, really, she has opened up to him with relative ease and speed. She considers him an ally in her quests. ● Jujuwai Totowai - A chance meeting with this researcher left Olive with a great opportunity to branch out into new work. Jujuwai has been nothing but good to her, impressed with even the smallest of Olive's inventive accomplishments while being far advanced beyond her smarts. He only bolsters her curiosity, and in return for the kindness, she can assist him in reaching the high shelves. 💘 Nixa Shaana - During a brief time of peace in Olive's life, living under the protection of the Coral Sea, she came to meet a sweet Miqo'te with a fire in her belly. And, comfortably lazy with the woman, Olive could have stayed with her forever in relative harmony. She would still like to. Nixa is perhaps the most stable and undemanding presence in Olive's entire life. ● Romanrique Sylvestre - Roman happened to catch Olive for the first time less than a bell after a tremendous disappointment. And, his behavior was shady at best for some time, just eavesdropping. But, when Olive begged a smoke off of him, he provided both a lesson in how to enjoy tobacco and some needed amusing reprieve. Sometimes a cigarette is just a cigarette, you know. 💘 Solid Sequoia - One of the first people who Olive met on her ventures to Ul'dah, and a dear friend. Solid has done well to teach Olive how to take care of herself on the streets. And in return, Olive has decided that the much larger Hellsguard is firm under her thumb and quite enjoys having her there. The two of them need to perhaps learn some respect for public establishments.

Acquaintances ● Eranyl Suncloak – This business associate of Istelle's was enough to earn a wary eye from Olive, on their first meetings. However, she can craft quite the good pair of glasses. Disliked ● Simeon sibaruse - If there is one thing that Olive has to owe to this man, it is that his actions set her on a quest for both self-improvement and improving others around her. Yet, were she to recognize his ever-changing face alone on the street, she would call for assistance and turn the other way. They were an odd couple that was too odd to last.
