L I K E S ■ Lalafells: Bubunro boasts a strong pride for his race and is very learned of their rich, powerfull history. He is biased towards and only physically attracted to other Lalafells. ■ Somnus: The occasional use of Eorzea's version of Opium to initiate a state of blissful, narcotic lethargy is a good way to wind down. By "occasional" we're talking bi-weekly. ■ Cactus Piss: A cheap alcohol with a terrible taste, brewed by farmers using sub-par ingredients. ■ Bombs: Something about their very design appeals to Bubunro. Be it their silly cackles or their warm, kindled glowe, the creatures have been somewhat adopted as a mascot for his most recent endeavors. ■ Parties: The thrill of a cheering crowd and people of all races packed in proximity to share revelry and high spirits lights a fire in Bubunro's heart and he will squeeze as many parties into his schedule as he possibly can.	D I S L I K E S ■ The Empire: Having faced them in several skirmishes during his service to the Maelstrom, he witnessed many comrades fall to Garlean Blades. The events that took place during Battle of Carteneau robbed him of the precious remaining members of his Free Company, which in the end was entirely the fault of Garlemald. Outside his personal grudge, he strongly disagrees with their ideals and feels they will ultimately lead to the world's legitimate end. ■ Nobles: Bubunro was exposed to the ugliest side of Ul'Dahn politics from the very moment of his birth forward, and developed an overall dislike for nearly everyone with wealth and influence. ■ Aggressive Attitudes: Everyone likes a Bad boy, but in Bubunro's experience, people seem to take that and run with it to the point where they become little more than civilized beasts. Though his experiences with such are nigh exclusive to to Au Ra, it hasn't developed into a racewide racism. Few things boil his blood as much as unwarrented agression, and sometimes it will provoke enough ire to initiate a physical response. ■ Patheticism: Bubunro is the type of person who will greet death with a smile. While not without fears, Bubunro's holds bravery and determination in high regard. With that said, witnessing pathetic individuals soak in their weakness never ceases to sour his mood. He'll attempt to correct it, but will deliver relentless verbal abuse the while time. Everyone needs encouragement sometimes, but individuals seeking constantly seeking sympathy are written off as a disappointment.	Q U I R K S ■ Easily Humored: Bubunro's sense of humor seems to go on forever, and nearly everything makes him laugh from the darkest, dirtiest jokes to the simplest of puns. ■ Smooth Talker: Bubunro's good at using his tongue to get what he wants; and sometimes using his tongue is just what he wants to do. ■ Memes: Bubunro's dialogue and actions reference outside pop-culture sources at times. While not exactly relevant to other characters, it is fun to adapt them into the realm of Final Fantasy XIV for the sake of OOC humor.
S T R E N G T H S ■ The Mighty Guard: Bubunro's Might Guard is essentially the lovechild of several different defensive magics fused into a paper-thin bulwark of aether. It passively materializes with an impressive fortification in response to trauma, but can be manually 'flexed' like a muscle to boost it's potency enough to deflect hostile attacks like a physical shield. ■ Highly Resistant: The phrase, 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger' has never been more true than with Bubunro. Anytime his body endures a detrimental effect be it through drugs, poisons, toxins, curses or poxes, his body will adapt and attempt to immunize. Stronger effects take several attempts to reach the 'resistant cap', and from that point forward the duration and potency of the effect will be rendered an inconvenience. ■ Blue Magic: Loremasters practice a type of blue magic that allows the user to learn a myriad of abilities from both beasts and men by merely watching them performed, and said abilities are generally picked up quickly. A Loremaster's capacity for magical prowess varies entirely upon practice and study. It is because of this that Bubunro's magical aptitude, while formidable, doesn't seem to match the potential advertised by the lost art in which he practices. ■ Physical Strength: Bubunro's body boasts an impressively developed physique rare among his kind, but despite a clear impression of tightly woven muscle against his flesh, his strength isn't quite "super". Merely a few ticks above average, Bubunro is capable of wielding the heavier weapons of larger races, like clubs and Axes with minimal fatigue.	W E A K N E S S E S ■ Unhealable: Bubunro's Mighty Guard absorbs beneficial spells, meaning he is completely immune to healing and any sustained injuries have to heal on their own through the barrier's slow regenerative effect. ■ Highly Resistant: Similar to how his body adapts and resists poisons and curses, potions are ineffective due to both a fortified tolerance to the medicines and the fact his body already heals itself albiet extremely slowly. ■ Crippled: Having lost a leg in the Battle of Carteneau, Bubunro's agility, speed and mobility are all below-average. Sprinting is impossible and while Bubunro's jumps can at times be imprssive, they aren't reliable and are troublesome to perform without preparation. ■ Low Stamina: Hobbling around takes it's toll on Bubunro, thus he tires quickly when performing feats of physical exertion. This is apparent in his offensive magics, which seem to weaken significantly in proportion to his torpor. ■ Gold: The highly-potent aether-resisting properties of gold react as an anomaly to Bubunro and his Mighty Guard. Direct contact with gold both drains Bubunro's stamina and prevents the use of nearly all his Blue Magic. Gold is also the only substence capable of effortlessly passing through Mighty Guard. It is because of this that Bubunro only handles pre-counted Gil Coins in a sack and relies heavily on Bank Notes for trade. ■ Backlash: All of Bubunro's Spells tier two and above have a varying backlash that results in self-inflicted damage when performed.
