It's particularly soft, and often smells sweet and fruity; likely from some personally-crafted hair tonic. While usually kept down, she sometimes ties it into a quite short ponytail; either at the back of her head or from the side. Her eyes are mismatching colours, but both equally bright and striking; with the right being violet and the left being lime green. Physique & Markings A Miqo'te woman of average height and racial appearance, little to no muscle definition, and an overall pear-like shape. Her skin is a light, untanned peach colour; normally uncommon for one living in Thanalan, yet understandable for the amount of time she spends indoors. Unfitting is also her lack of visible bodily scars, odd for a tribe-raised Miqo'te. X'kholi's slim frame starts from her narrow shoulders, extending down to her slightly above-average chest, hour-glassing down to her thin waist and softly rounded tummy, then lastly widening out around her hips and thighs; not quite chubby, but with enough meat to give her quite visible lower curves. Hygiene & Attire You'll never find Kholi anything but freshly bathed and clean-cut; her hair soft and her body emitting the gentle, natural fragrances of flowers and fruits. While the Seeker herself likely won't be caught in anything skimpy due to her natural shyness and modesty, her typical style does range from short-sleeved tops, skirts, shorts, and thigh-high socks. Granted, it's more often that she'll be caught in her lab coat made for work at the Alchemists Guild; due to her reluctance to disconnect herself from her passion. Personality Psychological Profile For the most part, X'kholi is a fairly positive individual. She's friendly, outgoing, giggly, interested in other people, and always eager to hear stories and learn what she can. However, due to her desire to maintain a good image and keep her place in the Alchemists Guild, she can often overwork herself or spend too much time fretting and worrying over the smaller things. And while she may be somewhat sensitive to the criticisms or harsh words of others, her great work ethic and hopeful determination always manage to pick her back up! Voice Soft, mid-ranged, and over-all sweet. Her voice isn't particularly designed well for projecting, much to her dismay, and it's fairly easy to down out if she doesn't put in the extra effort to be heard. Once she's fully comfortable, however, her tone is expressive, bubbly, and energetic. Philosophy & Mannerisms Kholi's philosophy is to value persistence and hard work above all. Regardless of the challenges ahead or the background one may be given, a firm dedication and an unwavering will can guide anyone to their dreams. Whether that belief comes from experience or her youthful naivety is up for debate, though! While for the most part her body language is quite reserved in order to manage her professional work face, that can quickly change once someone manages to get her enthused! She speaks with her hands, makes facial expressions, adds a wink or two in, and generally comes off as quite bubbly and sociable. One thing she does take mind not to cross lines with is personal space, and will often go out of her way to stay a step back and avoid touching over strangers out of respect. Combat Abilities ● Fencing: While her knowledge of fencing wasn't learned with combat in mind, she's able to incorporate it as such. ● Magic Wards: Her studies into magic have lead to her learning the basics of magic-based protective wards. ● Summoning...?: She learned literacy in the Arcanists Guild, and picked up a bit of information about the runes used for summoning. ...Sort've. History A Miqo'te woman raised by a division of the Lynx tribe within La Noscea. Having never truly felt at home, Kholi would later teach herself literacy at the Arcanists Guild, and then take leave to Ul'dah to join the Alchemists Guild where she would one day earn the status of being an official employee. Disclaimer: Her backstory is written as vaguely as possible and omits many details, with only enough information to have a better understanding of her as a character. Sixth Astral Era Childhood X'Kholi was born to a division of the Lynx Tribe set in the lands of Outer La Noscea. Since her youth, she was always a bit quirky compared to her peers; with desires to inspect the nearby Nymian ruins, mixing up herbs and frogs eyes into weird concoctions, and quizzing visiting merchants about the outside world, she would stand out quite a lot from the dedicated and finely tuned hunters of her tribe. After a childhood of many unintentional poisonings of her tribemates with the recipes she made, Kholi would finally learn one day from a traveler what her hobby was; alchemy. And that apparently, there was a whole organization dedicated to the craft! Across the seas, however, and they had fairly high standards in order to study there; reading and writing being the basics, which none in her otherwise isolated tribe knew. Around age 14, Kholi would travel to the city she'd heard so much about from visitors, Limsa Lominsa, with the sole purpose of finding a means to become literate. A search that would result in her joining the Arcanists Guild part-time for several years, where she'd learn not only literacy, but develop an adoration for knowledge all-together. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood The Calamity occurred shortly after her first year in the Arcanists Guild. And while catastrophic, it would only prove to provide Kholi with an even bigger thirst for knowledge. Her delve into the subject of history started with the Allagans and the backstory behind Dalamud; the false moon which held capture to the Calamity's creator for so long. From one history to a next, the young Seeker would find herself craving the knowledge from times past; delving into history of the Mhachi, of Nym, and other ancient civilizations. These studies would only prove in heightening her literacy and, at long last, give her the courage to send in an application to Ul'dah's famed Alchemist Guild! ...Which was met with silence, for what she could only assume was due to her odd background. Kholi didn't give up, however, and instead invested that waiting time into doing odd jobs to collect enough gil to sail the seas, arrive in Ul'dah, and finally walk straight into the Alchemists Guild and plead her case. It was then (and with the help of a rather unique elixir she'd made herself) that she was accepted as a student of the guild. At age 22, she was finally made an official employee; a status which she holds to this day, and continually works hard to maintain. In Recent Times Moving Forward At present time, Kholi is working hard to maintain her status at the Alchemist's Guild! This primarily involves her fulfilling orders, as well as working on an interesting range of personal recipes that she hopes to perfect enough to put out into the markets. Other than her job, her ongoing love for expanding her library, and the occasional visits outside of Ul'dah to discuss business, there's not much to say for her currently!
