Since then, Yayonzo has branched off to become a personal courier, making his living by delivering high priority packages and letters in a timely manner.

The blue-haired lalafell is, of course, a bit on the shorter side. Most of the time, he dresses in infantry attire, as he prefers the lightweight garb that allows him to move freely. No matter how his outfit varies, he always opts to wear a large, feathered hat with a sizable brim which sometimes covers his eyes.

Generally playful, cheerful, uplifting around others.

Biography

Yayonzo was born within the limits of the Black Shroud, unlike his parents. He doesn't know much of their plight before he was born, but multiple hints over the years have led him to believe that they put everything they had into moving from Ul'Dah to Gridania. The reason for this is still unknown, though Yayonzo suspects that they preferred to raise a child in the green, lush scenery of the Shroud as opposed to the dingy, refugee-ridden streets of Ul'Dah.
As soon as he was old enough to wield a bow, Yayonzo's pure talent with the weapon shined through and made him a popular figure in Gridania. He enrolled at the Archer's Guild as soon as he was allowed, and his innate proficiency with the weapon quickly caught the eye of the Twin Adder. In their eyes, a talented marksman such as Yayonzo would be a devastating force to have positioned on their front lines. As his skills continued to develop, Yayonzo's parents were frequently visited by various high-ranking Serpents, who offered an undisclosed compensation for their promise to keep their son interested in archery. They obliged, and continued to push Yayonzo toward his inevitable future as a member of the Twin Adder.
Yayonzo's closest companion, his chocobo Quill, was part of the aforementioned compensation. On his eighth birthday, his parents surprised him with a chocobo chick, who was quickly dubbed "Quill" and integrated into the family. As Yayonzo grew older, his parents continued to push him toward honing his skills with a bow. As a result, the young archer rarely had an opportunity to go out and socialize with the other residents of the Shroud. Quill filled this void in his childhood, serving as an important figure in his development as the only true friend he'd really known. In terms of personality, Quill is generally sassy and self-absorbent, and always tries to find a way to thrust herself into the spotlight. She regularly attempts to assert her dominance over Yayonzo by teasing him, usually by stealing his hats or giving him playful pecks or pushes. Though most would assume the two hate each other, they actually share a close understanding of each other that few are able to truly comprehend.
At the age of 19, Yayonzo's hard word, practice, and participation with the Archer's Guild had paid off. He was promoted, and named a member of Gridania's famous "God's Quiver," and tasked with the safety from threats such as the Ixal. This promotion was a manifestation of how far he'd come, as he was now among Gridania's elite. By this point, Yayonzo had developed enough social skills to carry on a good conversation and form a few casual friendships among others in the God's Quiver. With little reason to be unhappy, his disposition was consistently cheery and playful, cementing him as a friendly face among his peers.

Romantic Interest, Sexual Interest, Platonic Love, Good Standing, Neutral Standing, Poor Standing

Romantic Interest

TBD - Yayonzo is no stranger to romantic relationships, though he has yet to find a true significant other.

Good Standing

Quill - Quill is Yayonzo's sassy chocobo that was gifted to him at a young age, mostly as a means to coerce him into joining the ranks of the Twin Adder, later on in life. Quill has been his closest companion ever since, and she never lets him forget it. Sometimes she'll tease him by stealing his hat and chucking it off to the side, an act of dominance that reminds the archer of who's really in control.
Emma Vikhrov - A long-time "drinking buddy" of Yayonzo's albeit partially against his will. Emma, who has somewhat of a fascination with the tiny archer, frequently orders packaged to the Drowning Wench just to sit the lalafell down for a drink and a chat. Generally, these conversations see the sassy sellsword poking fun at Yayonzo over his shorter stature, and lack of control over his chocobo. Eventually, Yayonzo would invite her to join his newly formed company of couriers as the second-in-command, as he'd grown to respect her approach to combat and skills with a sword. Even though she constantly berates him in a playful manner, the archer can't help but consider Emma Vikhrov a close friend of sorts.
Rerena Rena - Yayonzo came to know Rerena from an assignment they had both been ordered to take on by their respective guilds. They immediately began to respect one another, as the sight of another Gridanian lalafell was too rare to take for granted. During the assignment, the two worked together to fight off a rogue group of bandits that had set out to obtain a parcel that the lalafell were told to deliver. After a few skirmishes, the duo came out victorious, and came away from the assignment with a new friend.
