The colour could probably best be described as a dark 'salt and pepper', and the texture is very flyaway and constantly affected by atmospheric static. His hair is cropped short, with braided sections to the right hand side of his head. His eyes are a light forest green, seeming almost to refract light and glow in the right lighting. Physique & Markings Physically, Yesun is well toned and fairly fit. Though he was never officially a hunter for his tribe, he still trained enough to keep his body as sharp as his mind - a habit which has followed him to Eorzea, too. His legs are especially powerful and his thighs are probably considered large by most. As far as markings go, Yesun is covered in scars of varying severity and size, every one of them intentionally placed there during rituals, ceremonies and other important tribal events. The Ugund Iloh he is from were fond of doing this, and given his lineage of being the chief of rite and ritual, it was important for him to bear the marks he does. The smaller ones are generally geometric or insect/animal shapes, whereas the larger ones tend to stick to geometric patterns and repeated lines. Here is a reference sheet for his major scars. Hygiene & Attire Hygiene and cleanliness are VERY important to Yesun. Having been an important part of running the Iloh he lived in, as well as being seen as perhaps the closest to the Dusk Mother amongst his people due to his title and job, Yesun sees cleanliness as next to Godliness, to turn a phrase. He is extremely well kept and often smells of clove and patchouli oils, though this can vary to scents as sweet as rose and as warm as leathers and furs. He bathes twice daily, sometimes more if he is doing messy work. Yesun's attire varies drastically depending on what he is doing. For ritual work, he often wears furs and leather accoutrements, adorning his head with bone headdresses and flowers. Day to day, however, he dresses nicely but relatively casually, often favouring flowing fabrics and garments over tight and form fitting ones. Personality Psychological Profile Yesun is an optimistic person at heart, always striving to see the good in situations and in people. He is a true neutral good character - willing to disobey laws which perpetrate evil or harm to others, but otherwise living within the law so long as it promotes goodness. Yesun is also something of a worrier, tending to spend a lot of time worrying what others think of him or what they think of his line of work. He is determined, loyal, fair and just, and unless pulling his brother's braids counts, has never done an evil thing in his life. Voice Yesun has a deep voice with a somewhat brassy timbre. He is barrel chested and so all of his words seem to have some kind of innate, deep vibrato to them. His accent, that of the Azim Steppe, is strong enough to cloud some Eorzean words, though he speaks both the language of the Steppe and common Eorzean fluently and without issue if you can look past his heavy accent. Philosophy & Mannerisms Yesun's philosophy in life is very much one of 'do no harm to others, and they will do no harm to you'. He also lives by the belief that most, if not all, Ugund do - that death is a scary experience, and anything that can be done to ease the journey for the deceased and those left behind should be done. This creed is the main reason that he has kept on offering other Xaela funerary and other rites in Eorzea even though he no longer fills an official role in his tribe. His mannerisms are generally soft and gentle, though Yesun also has a playful side he lets out among friends and family very often.

He is now well skilled at potion making, as when twinned with his training with his tribe, Alchemy makes for some powerful concoctions. ● Knowledge of Xaelan rites, rituals and ceremonies: Yesun is incredibly well versed in Xaelan tribal affairs - especially the workings of the Ugund tribe, though he knows much about the other tribes of the Steppe too, especially the larger ones. ● Cooking: Being in a tribe which viewed things such as hunting and cooking as something to be shared amongst members of all genders, Yesun was taught how to cook by both of his parents from a young age, and it's simply an interest he's honed since being in Eorzea with both Xaelan cuisine and Eorzean. Combat Abilities ● Archery: As was expected of all of his tribe who were physically able, Yesun learned and subsequently mastered at least one combat art by the time he was 15. He was given a bow and arrows by his father as a child and the art of archery became one of his favourites. ● Geomancy: Though Yesun never learned much of Geomancy, he knows a little from his time on the Steppe spent with healers and shamanic practitioners who practiced Geomancy themselves and were keen to teach him the ways of the Geomancer. OOC Note I much prefer /random or dice based combat over straight up RP combat! That said, I am not much of a combat player and while this section exists, expect it to only crop up in PvE or self-defence and pre-arranged storylines, not at random.

History Sixth Astral Era Childhood Yesun was born on The Azim Steppe 28 years prior to the Calamity in Eorzea/the turn of the era to a Shepherdess and the Orshhuuglyn Khunii of the Ugund tribe. (The latter being the master/chief of rites, ritual and ceremony for the tribe, a title passed down from generation to generation, traditionally going to the oldest child unless they decline to take the mantle, in which case it passes to the next oldest child in the family, and so on.) He also had two older brothers, Baavgai and Tamachag. His extended family was large, making up around half of the Iloh he grew up in, and he wanted for nothing, being doted upon as the 'lucky son' - the ninth born in that particular generation. ● Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood This is typically post calamity information, or information since the turn of the era (Domans & others not in Eorzea proper).
