Appearance

Zazana is of average height for a Lalafell, perhaps even a bit smaller. She has red eyes as well as red hair that flows down to her shoulers, with a single braid on the rear of her head.

Behavior

Zazana is extremely soft spoken. Around men, she is skittish and nervous, unable to hold even a short conversation with them. She cries very easily, and hyperventilates herself to unconsciousness whenever she sees magitek weaponry.

Speech

Zazana has a mid-pitch, haughty sounding tone of voice. She never laughs out loud, but instead chuckles softly. She has a slight Ul'dahn accent and tends to use larger words in her normal speech in order to appear more intelligent.

Aptitudes

From a young age, Zazana had always been extremely talented at anything magic related. She is able to commune with elementals, understand complex aetheric equations, and invoke her own aetheric energies for spells. Though skilled in all schools of magic, she prefers arcanistry, as she prefers to let her summons take care of any form of difficult work. As an offset to this, her physical constitution is extremely frail. She is only able to run short distances before having to rest and she is unable to withstand even mild discomfort.

Jozen Yazen: Zazana's father. A very serious Lalafellin from Ul'dah. Was formerly an alchemist of a renowned company, but was fired after being accused of stealing supplies. Tends to become violently angry when drunk. Sees Zazana as his pride and joy, and spoils her to no end.

Totoda Toda: Zazana's mother. A kindhearted Lalafellin Weaver from Ul'dah. Being the mother of five, she is very used to taking care of children.

Tencha Kemcha: The oldest of Zazana's three brothers. A stout Lalafellin Gladiator who makes his living as an Immortal Flame of Ul'dah. He has immense pride in Zazana, and makes sure to protect her at every turn.

Rogar Haygar: The second oldest of Zazana's three brothers. A jovial Lalafellin Miner who can almost always be seen with a smile on his face. Zazana thinks that his excited mannerisms are the result of brain damage, and refuses to associate herself with him.

Popodan Fafadan: The youngest of Zazana's three brothers. A Lalafellin Archer that travels Eorzea to find stories to tell. Very rarely in Ul'dah, but always makes sure to regal his family with tales of his travels when he visits. Not very close to Zazana, but is still kind to her.

Zanana Zana: Zazana's twin sister. Though they happen to look very similar (besides the obvious clan difference), they are the exact opposite personality-wise. While Zazana would prefer to stay home and read or observe their father's work, Zanana would prefer to get in fights and cause trouble. Zazana sees her as useless, and hates being associated with her.

History

Zazana was born in Ul'dah on the 24th Sun of the 5th Umbral Moon to Jozen Yazen and Totoda Toda. As she was born mere moments after her twin sister, she was considered the youngest of the family's five children. Her natural gift with magic meant that much pride was placed in her from a young age. She allowed the constant compliments and gifts she received from her father to get to her head, which in turn led to her conceited attitude. During her schooling, she had always been in the top percentile of her classes, a fact which she believed further cemented her superiority over others. Other than that, nothing of any note happened during Zazana's childhood. Her family was not wealthy or poor, but they managed to get by fine. Zazana was content with this orderly lifestyle and enjoyed her everyday routine.

When Zazana was younger, her father was accused of stealing supplies and money at his job. Though there was no proof to confirm that he was indeed the thief, he was still fired and blacklisted. Jozen then fell into a deep, alcohol fueled depression. He refused to leave the home and occasionally even became violent, which required him to be restrained by his sons. Zazana refused to believe that her father had committed the crime that he was accused of and began to gather information on the theft in order to clear her father's name and find the true perpetrator.
