Appearance

Zanana is of average height for a Lalafell, perhaps even a bit smaller. She has red eyes as well as red hair that she keeps tied behind her head in a tuft. She has a marking in the form of a rose on her right arm, but refuses to tell anyone where she received it from.

In the past, she wore an eye patch that she claimed "sealed her dragon powers". She stopped wearing it after Jujunia said that she looked better without it.

Behavior

Zanana tends to be very rough in her mannerisms. She loves to fight and drink, and will never back down from a challenge. To people that don't know her she may seem rude, but anything she says is (usually) for a good cause. She can sometimes be apprehensive of people she does not know, but she tends to make fast friends with them. She almost never holds grudges to people as long as they are willing to change, and constantly tries to pull others into her fast pace. As a side note, Zanana tends to have heavy voyeuristic tendencies, and will sometimes watch people for hours without saying a word.

In the past, she often pretended to be a dragon reincarnated as a Lalafell. She no longer does this as she believes that Jujunia will think she is an idiot if she were to continue.

Speech

Zanana speaks in a high-pitched, whiny tone of voice. Her laugh is more akin to a screech than anything. She tends to generalize on most statements, ending sentences with "and stuff" and "or something". She speaks with a slight Ul'dahn accent and occasionally slurs her words.

Aptitudes

Zanana was trained in the way of the Pugilist from her brother Rogar. While lacking in physical strength, her deft agility in close quarters combat belies her pudgy build. She does not have the slightest clue about magic or its various intricacies, nor does she care to learn. After being defeated in a sparring match by a Dunesfolk Lancer named Babaren Gogoren, she learned to appreciate the exceptional reach of the spear and began to train under Babaren in order to learn to wield one.

Zanana knows the basics of cooking and preparing food from helping her mother when she was younger, but is not confident enough in her abilities to call herself talented at it. She has begun to practice cooking more often at the suggestion of Jujunia.

Family

Jozen Yazen: Zanana's father. A very serious Lalafellin from Ul'dah. Was formerly an alchemist of a renowned company, but was fired after being accused of stealing supplies. Tends to become violently angry when drunk. Does not interact with Zanana often, as he sees her as a disappointment.

Totoda Toda: Zanana's mother. A kindhearted Lalafellin Weaver from Ul'dah. Being the mother of five, she is very used to taking care of children.

Tencha Kemcha: The oldest of Zanana's three brothers. A stout Lalafellin Gladiator who makes his living as an Immortal Flame of Ul'dah. He actively protested Zanana's rough mannerisms during her childhood, but to no avail. He keeps his distance from her, as she reminds him of his own failure to change her.

Rogar Haygar: The second oldest of Zanana's three brothers. A jovial Lalafellin Miner who is also Zanana's favorite brother. Is almost always in a good mood with a smile on his face. Taught Zanana to fight using her fists in order to protect herself. Found Zanana's delusions cute and played along with her at times, much to the detriment of their mother.

Popodan Fafadan: The youngest of Zanana's three brothers. A Lalafellin Archer that travels Eorzea to find stories to tell. Very rarely in Ul'dah, but always makes sure to regal his family with tales of his travels when he visits. Many of his stories were actually inspiration for Zanana's delusions. Not very close to Zanana, but is still kind to her.

Zazana Zana: Zanana's twin sister. Though they happen to look very similar (besides the obvious clan difference), they are the exact opposite personality-wise. While Zanana would prefer to get in fights and cause trouble, Zazana would prefer to stay home and read or observe their father's work. In the past they had hated each other, but after Zazana lost her memories, they started anew. Zanana tends to lie to Zazana about her past in order to protect her.
