Personality

Yulia is generally cheerful and easygoing, and incredibly friendly to people she knows. It is not unusual for her to run up and hug someone she's friends with, before darting off to her next task. She is prone to laughter, and some might say she is easily amused.

Abilities and Skills

General

Yulia may appear modest, but is well trained in her art. She tends to avoid fighting whenever possible, preferring a stealthy or diplomatic approach, but if necessary, her skill with twin daggers is comparable to the ninjas of Doma. She continually puts herself through rigorous exercise to keep these skills, and her own physical fitness, in tact.

Given her line of work, Yulia is prone to don several disguises or assume multiple identities. As such, passerby accounts of her name or appearance are frequently inconsistent.

Weapons

₪ Dagger: Yulia carries two daggers, Locke and Celes. The daggers are stamped with a symbol of a red coeurl on the base of the hilt, and are carried on her at all times, even if it does not appear so.

Should the daggers become inaccessible, she is trained in standard hand-to-hand combat.

₪ Accessories: She also carries some small accessories on hand, pertaining to her work. Things like lockpicks, smoke pellets, and blinding powder are not uncommon.

Eranyl Suncloak 'Sister' (Miqo'te, Seeker of the Sun)

Though the two are not related biologically, Yulia and Eranyl are so close that they consider each other sisters. Yulia trusts her absolutely and has shared things with Eranyl that she wouldn't necessarily share with her own husband.

Lugh Danaan Husband (Miqo'te, Keeper of the Moon)

Yulia and Lugh met by chance at the Carline Canopy one night, and over time blossomed a loving relationship. The two see each other frequently and can be spotted together across Eorzea.

Yuna Danaan Step-Daughter (Miqo'te, Seeker of the Sun)

The elder of the step-daughters, Yuna is collected and mischievous. She prefers to play the role of the confident and capable big sister, and is currently learning to use daggers from Yulia.

Rena Danaan Step-Daughter (Miqo'te, Seeker of the Sun)

The younger of the two step-daughters, Rena is more openly emotional than her elder sister. She prides herself in no longer being the youngest sibling, and has a keen interest in her new little sister's well-being.

Suzu Eranyl Danaan Daughter (Miqo'te, Keeper of the Moon)

Yulia's biological daughter. Still just an infant, she can be seen with Yulia frequently. She is quiet for a kitten.

Jue Nunh Father (Miqo'te, Seeker of the Sun)

Jue Nunh was Yulia's father, who stole her away from the tribe before they imprisoned her to a life of breeding. He fled with her to Limsa Lominsa, and ultimately abandoned her there. The details of his abndonment and his current whereabouts/status are unknown.

Unknown Mother (Miqo'te, Seeker of the Sun)

Given the nature of Seeker tribes and her young age when she left, Yulia knows very little about her own mother. The only memory she has clearly is the keepsake she holds close.

Gracie Singer Friend (Hyur, Midlander)

Yulia met "Gracie" on the same night that she met Lugh, and is ultimately responsible for bringing the two together. They've had some good talks together, and attended each other's respective weddings.

Zelos Wildre Friend (Miqo'te, Seeker of the Sun)

Zelos is an aspiring adventurer, who met crossed paths with Yulia at some point in Ul'dah. Yulia's helpful nature lent her hand to assisting him on his tasks or missions, and the two have become friends in the process.

Elaysa shared a living quarters with Eranyl for a time, and as such, met with Yulia on several occasions. Elaysa was always nose deep in her work, so the two didn't get a chance to really connect.

Yulia and Dav met at a tavern, where they spoke in depth about the medical world and its mysteries.

Cy'xanne approach Yulia during her pregnancy, and offered his assistance regarding her child. He boasts several skills and resources in pediatric care.

History/Timeline

Childhood

₪ Early Childhood

Yulia was born into the Antelope tribe of Seekers, and was determined "fit for breeding" as she began developing. This unnerved her father, who didn't want to see his daughter imprisoned as a glorified sex slave. At a young age, Her father took her and fled the tribe, making his way to La Noscea to seek asylum.

Teenage

₪ Urchin Days

At some point, due to currently unknown circumstances, her father abandoned her in Limsa Lominsa. Leaving her to fend for herself on the streets. She was taken in by the local rogues guild, who taught her several abilities to get by, including combat, thievery, subterfuge, and the like. After the Calamity, she left Limsa Lominsa to wander, possibly seeking purpose, or perhaps more honest work.

Present

₪ The Employer

After a few successful heists in the Ul'dah territory, Yulia was contacted by an as of yet unknown organization with possible ties to the Monetarists. She was given a choice to use her skills for political means or be turned in and likely put to death by the Brass Blades. Since then, she has become something of a shadowy whistleblower, stealing confidential or sensitive information from one government and handing it over to another. While this effectively enforces political transparency by the city states, Her alias appears on the wanted lists of many, most notably the Brass Blades of Ul'dah. Her skill in disguise and general stealth has thus far allowed her identity to remain hidden from her potential captors, and has earned her the alias of "The Crimson Coeurl," usually spoken with a vulgarity or two by guards.
