For Aiyana Tyanu, variety truly is the spice of life. Wandering the lands, the young Miqo’te seeks to push the boundaries in two categories: her combat prowess and culinary experiences.
For as long as she can remember, much to her mother’s dismay, she would wander off somewhere she wasn’t supposed to be to play with the wild animals. Often these new friends of her would follow her back home. This has caused her to become rather in-tuned with animals, often more so than she is with other people.
Having inherited a Monk’s soul crystal from who she assumed was her father, she has become a self-taught Monk using the inscriptions upon the stone’s face and the memories locked within as a basis. Never having a proper master or code of ethics, this has allowed her to learn a more “wild and free” fighting style. This often leads to weaving in Monk-based techniques into violent, sporadic sword-play.
Along with finding points of strong connections with battles past to further herself as a Monk, Aiyana’s other great love is searching for new and exciting cuisines to titillate her palate. Nothing will win the Seeker’s favor faster than giving a delicious meal and being adamant enough to curb the strength of her attacks in battle.
Standing at a rather average height for a female Seeker, she doesn’t look very imposing upon first glance. At a closer look, it is apparent that she has considerable. tone to her muscles, however nothing is bulging or overly vascular. Her skin has a light sun-kissed look to it. Her eyes are colored a light aquamarine with the usual vertical slits of a Seeker. The hair atop Aiyana’s head is a lighter caramel blonde, usually pulled back into a long ponytail to avoid it getting in the way.

CLOTHING : Most of Aiyana’s wardrobe shows how little she likes to feel restricted. Other than a few select pieces, the clothes she dons are loosely fitted, making Far Eastern styles perfect for her. Usually she has some sort of flower sitting in her hair, preferably a lily. She greatly despises clothes that cover up her stomach or thighs unless it is beyond bone-chillingly cold. For shoes her top choice is either a pair of thigh boots that don’t limit movement or some sort of sandals.
She thrives from conflict. Always trying to pick a fight, be it verbal or “hand”-to-hand. She has a streak of sadism in the colors of her personality. While being generally mildly obnoxious and overall lighthearted, there is great pride along for the ride. She views most people beneath her due to her natural affinity for combat, having lost less times than she can count on a hand.
This narcissism has caused her to reach a point where most people are not allowed in, so to speak. Unless someone has proven themselves in some way that they are worthy of her time, she almost completely ignores their existence. However, if someone has shown potential, be it in personality or power, the shell can be pried open to show a person able to laugh, cry, and anywhere in between.
It is rather difficult to get her into a proper bad mood. She may appear angry at times, but that is more of a means of hyping herself up. Otherwise she is very childlike with excitement, becoming wide-eyed over her favorite things at the snap of a finger.
- SURPRISES : Be it a tasty new dish, a gift of clothing, or a worthy opponent, any new experience makes Aiyana almost glow with happiness.
- SLEEP : Finding somewhere to sleep isn’t difficult for the young woman. If there is food and drink filling her stomach and nothing else maintaining her interest, sleep is inevitable no matter the location.
- ANIMALS : Wildlife has always been a fascination of Aiyana’s. Often times, she will make friends with the creatures to have temporary or sometimes permanent traveling companions.
- MONOTONY : When things in her life become to uniform and she feels nothing else is to be gained where she is at, Aiyana gets agitated and urged to move forward in some way.
- BOASTING : Considering her personality and level of strength, when she hears someone else bragging, it makes her grit her teeth and a sudden urge to show them their place - writhing beneath her boot - to rise.
- AWFUL FOODS : Nothing causes the Seeker to lose her happiness more than food prepared by someone that may as well be lacking taste buds.
- SELF-TAUGHT : While this can be a weakness as well, Aiyana considers it a massive boon in her favor. Her opinion on being restricted to a master’s teachings limits one’s potential due to someone else’s morale compass
- ARROGANCE : Her personality is partially to both gain and be blamed for where she is as a warrior. However, it also has caused Aiyana to become rather complacent, assuming that a fight is likely won before it even starts. This trait could potentially become her downfall once a stronger-than-her opponent eventually comes along.
- LACK OF COMPANIONS : Due to the large gaps between her and most other people, Aiyana often fears that she will never meet friends that she can properly come to cherish without looking down upon.
- FAVORITE FOOD : Apple Strudel.
- FAVORITE DRINK : Spiced Cider.
- FAVORITE ANIMAL : She has an otter companion that often accompanies her on her travels. She met him while traveling to Kugane in an empty wine barrel on the open ocean.

Due to her long history of combat over her travels, she has gained a massive amount of battle experience. This topped on her affinity for fighting has left her in a very favorable position. While lacking in the intellectual field, she is extremely cunning and quick-witted during combat, be it physical or verbal.
Aiyana never learned where she was born, only that the family was forced to flee while she was still an infant. She has no actual memories of her father and has been told almost nothing about him by her mother. She was raised in a corner of La Noscea that was far enough away that no one disturbed the duo, but close enough that necessities weren’t out of reach. At an early age she became fascinated by the various ships that would come into port and leave soon thereafter. The idea of their freedom was something she longed for, to explore anything she saw or possibly couldn’t see. So when she finally built up the courage to do so, when she felt she had strengthened herself enough to at least defend herself, she left home and became a stowaway on a merchant’s ship. Ending up in some small port town she began wandering, seeking all the experiences she could come across. For a small while, she joined a pirate crew as the prospect of traveling across large bodies of water was difficult at the time. That time gave her a good foundation in fighting other humans and not just self-training or abusing large animals of the wild. Eventually she made a break from the band of goons to begin walking amongst nothing but herself and the stars once more. That has continued through the present, where she still does her own agenda.
While she almost never actually mentions her family to anyone for personal reasons, she left home on what she assumes were good terms.
A playful Seeker whom she has met more than enough times and walloped just as many if not more.
