- Ayana is a smallish miqo'te, generally recognized as being of the Keeper variety. Assuming those wide pupils are genetic and not a result of the copious amounts of drugs she's been known to partake in.
- She has youthful features and looks a little too vulnerable to be wandering around on her own, but the chakrams tend to keep the weird ones at bay.
- Her hair is a hip-length mess of thick, white waves and the occasional little braid woven in. Always at least one or two braids among the fluff.
- The stray has a love of brightly colored, revealing costumes and excessive jewelry. While it's clear that it's mostly of low quality, she appears to have a few pieces that are well-made, likely "borrowed". Even with garish colors and countless accessories, she appears to have some concept of style and still looks fairly put-together.

Biography- As she'll tell it herself, Ayana was born in a secluded village by the sea. Around some young age, she just up and left. Some might call it "running away", but she prefers to refer to it as "an unintentional adventure". Being too young and stupid to remember its actual location and due to her inability to read maps at the time of her departure, she has absolutely no idea how to get back and hasn't seen her family in years.
- She spent most of her life since then traveling by one way or another. Hitchhiking with farmers, befriending fishermen, bizarre teleportation incidents, running away from bears, performing with caravans, you name it.
- She presently makes as a dancer on the streets of Ul'dah--well, more recently, Gridania. It doesn't seem to hold the same lucrative potential, though, and she's looking into other work.
- Whatever her past holds, it doesn't seem to have stopped her from being disgustingly optimistic.
