Delesta was born in a small Miqo'te settlement somewhere in Gyr Abania though the location of which has long since been lost due. She spent the first eight years of her life living with her tribe along-side her sister, A'sana, who was three years her junior. While she was very much mentally present for the slaughter of her people, it has such been locked away. A'sana and Delesta were hidden away by their mother just in time to escape their entire tribe being slaughtered in the wake of the Garlean Empire's annexation of Ala Mhigo and her surroundings. And while their lives were saved, Delesta believes her mother hid them and ran to save herself, channeling all of her anger at the woman who left them to save herself. Delesta shed herself of the name her mother gave her for a name she came up with as her rebirth.
Among the refugees that fled Imperial rule, Delesta found herself in Ul'dah with her sister. Most of her time was spent focused on looking after A'sana. She quickly learned how the streets handled business and what one must do to earn coin through the less than honorable. As she got older, her depth in criminal work also increased. From starting as a look out, a 'goods' runner, pickpocket, she would graduate to robbery, confidence schemes, assaults, and other heinous crimes committed as she found her strength and growing expertise in working in Ul'dah streets quite lucrative for her own pockets along with her sister. As a late teen, the pair formed a small, violent, crew that terrorized the markets and trade centers for a few years. Both criminals and merchants were targeted for goods to be resold or 'shipped' off to various other less than honorable establishments in Limsa as her small crew's notoriety grew. Shortly after A'sana's 21st birthday, Delesta was captured and found guilty on multiple counts of theft and one count of assault after a member of the crew was captured by the Brass Blades and gave Delesta up. She was sentenced to six years.
She came to confront many of those fellow criminals she had crossed in the past few years, making various stints in her confinement very violent and not always victorious. One such encounter ended with the loss of her left eye, requiring Delesta to owe a favor to a rather unorthodox alchemist and healer by the name of Daxtra Ryder to have her eye reconstructed.
Upon her release, she returned to the city that raised her, looking to start again and see which doors remain open and which ones need to be forcibly unlocked.
Description
Delesta stand five Fulms and four Illms tall. She is on the muscular side of agile and a strong core that fits the aura of a fighter and general thug that she projects of herself. Her eyes have two color iris'; the left being blue and the right being red. She has bright red hair to which the tips are dyed white. She normally is seen wearing some sort of simple or 'imposing' cloth that looks like it was made to allow for unhindered combat, generally seen in short/no sleeve shirts.

Combat : Growing up in Pearl Lane; Delesta learned quickly, and violently, how to fight using her fists, a blade, and an occasional pistol. She prefers to fight with her knuckles, utilizing a brawling technique she refined in the streets of Ul'dah.
Misdirection : While she is not an expert of slight of hand, she utilizes misdirection to lure others to a position to allow a surprise attack or to gain information.
Information Gathering/Reading People : While she is far from someone who is quiet, she has a way of getting information off of every encounter she comes across.
QUIRKS
Delesta is blunt to a fault. Sometimes it's for a specific reason or sometimes it's just because she doesn't care. She will tell you how she feels about something barring a few selection people.
She is quick to escalate a challenge to 'take it out side' levels.
Delesta can be shameless in her drinking of alcohol and brazen passes for someone to share a bed with for the night.
She speaks in a very slurred and broken common tongue. Many cut off words, incorrect tenses, and various other 'quirks' common of someone who lacked any formal education.

Her younger sister that she is willing to kill for at the blink of an eye. She took the role of her guardian and protector for as long as she could remember. Doing all she could to help support her sister’s studies in hopes that she could elevate herself out of the life of illegal acts and violence they were brought up. Recently, there was a borderline violent falling out and their relationship nearly destroyed. She still considers A'sana family and will fight for her regardless of how open she can be. They have started to rebuild their relationship but things are still tense.

A woman that became important to Delesta in a way that surprised the two of them. Delesta doesn't know if this can actually work, believing herself to be someone who will bring the good of this woman down.

"Hyde" came into her life in a whirlwind of violence and psychotic outbursts. Through conflict and abstract bonding methods, she has grown a bit fond of him. He shares a lot in common with Delesta and is free to let herself be closer to the creature Pearl Lane has created.:
Character's Thoughts:“Maybe all them scalies be a bit off bu' she seems more off than mos'. She a nice girl, smart girl, pretty jus'...off. She means a lot t' Hayle which means there somethin' good 'bout her. Don' know if tha' means I shoul' be 'round her.”
Delesta hardly knows this young Xaela but her relationship to Hayle means she has to at least act like she likes her. Though Saru seems entertaining and wholesome in a way that doesn't piss Delesta off, she considers her a friend.

A chance encounter and some boasting words caused intrigue between these two. She sees Raeynn as someone who understands the elements Delesta has to mute within herself. Though she doesn't know if that will lead to acceptance or violence but they get along well for now.
Character's Thoughts:“This fuckin' sissy thinks he goin' do so wha' he did t' my flesh an' blood an' live, he has another fuckin' thing coming. He's dead, he jus' walkin' around not knowin' it yet.”
After seeing the scars he inflicted upon her sister and the pain caused by his actions at his Society, Delesta abhors Aether and wishes to see him and those that follow him or Veicette harmed.
Character's Thoughts:“She played games wi' m' sisters life. I'm not goin' play 'round when I watch th' life fade from her eyes. This bitch goin' die slow.”
After hearing about how Veicette went about orchestrating the acts to cause the damage to A'sana's back, Delesta is more than furious with her. Knowing she is now the active leader of her former group only infuriates her more. Delesta abhors Veicette and wishes to see her and those that follow her or Aether harmed.
Character's Thoughts:“Walkin' away was the best thing I could have done. I was selfish for doing it how I did an' for th' wrong reasons but things went a way I never thought they would have. And after standin' by an' lettin' what happened happen to A'sana, they all got blood on they hands in m' eyes.”
After abandoning her former group in a disgraceful way, Delesta became more than furious and vindictive at learning how bad her sister, one who was a ranking member, was treated by those of her own banner. She holds hostility to anyone who still follows those who harmed her sibling.

Despite healing her eye, Daxtra Ryder is someone who isn't a joy to be around. Their last meeting ended with very explicit threats toward each other but a respect to the debt owed.
