Edward Lazipu is a Gentleman, Scholar and Teacher that was cursed long ago and forced into a Carbuncle form. Since the death of Xyla, his immortality was removed and he is able to be his Huyr self now and then...but often his Carbuncle shell is what he resides in.

Edward, despite his Carbuncle form is a well mannered, polite and at times gentleman like person. The Carbuncle body he has is not made of Aether and it's more solid than translucent.

Siphoning and Transferring Aether : On his travels, Edward managed to learn of a method to transfer Aether from one source to another. Effectively giving Aether to those who may need it.

Carbuncle Swap : Due to his extended time as a Carbuncle, Edward is sometimes seen in his Carbuncle form through an odd Method. If he is hit with cold water, he turns into the Carbuncle, while Hot water reverts him back. More than 60% of his body must be covered in water for the effect to happen and drinking water does nothing.

Xyla had given his voice back and introduced him to the world...but because of her artificial nature, he tries to teach the young one in life. Effectively, giving her most of her traits as seen today. Though they fight and argue, Edward sees Xyla as his current 'Top Student'.
