How the Clock Ticks
- Informed by her interactions with others, Enambris is regularly told that she is blunt, abrasive, and even thoughtless - she often speaks her own truth, regardless of the thoughts or feelings of those around her. While in her first few years this mattered little to her, the sudden realization that her words could be as sharp as her blade (accompanied by a poor woman she accidentally made to cry) has curbed some of her harshness.
- Regardless of this, she still speaks her mind freely, though now she will be soft with her words or craft her sentences carefully to avoid another incident like before. While she is somewhat daunting to approach, regularly decked out in full plate armor and helm, she is quick to leap into conversation.
- Besides her abrasive nature, she is a constant champion for her cause, and will often leap at the chance to express her views on Justice and balance, and the correlation between the two. She firmly believes that mortal-kind must strive to keep a balance within and without themselves, not only with right and wrong, but with light and darkness too. Rights must be paid for wrongs, and light must be tempered by darkness; without all of these concepts, one risks falling wholly into wrong or darkness alone. She made peace with this knowledge long ago, and regularly indulges little darknesses to temper her inner light - occasional barbiturates and the ferocity of battle are her strongest vices.

Glass Network
- Her place at the head of the Glass Network has occupied much of Enambris' free time. Coordinating, managing resources, and generally acting as the head and face of the Network as a whole, she rarely has time for anything else.
Protection
- While her skill with a blade is widely regarded as among the best in the land, her ability to defend those who need it most is unquestionable. She offers this protection to any who seek it, from the poor and homeless of Ul'dah, the downcast of the Brume, the refugees of Ala Mhigo and Doma, or those being terrorized by their oppressors on high. While she is no longer a sellsword, she will still leap to the defense of those who need it whenever she is asked.
Charity Work
- There is a lot of work she does that she doesn't receive compensation for, and Enambris is perfectly fine with that. During the coldest of days or the worst of the seasons, she will make her way through the Brume, the slums, and Little Ala Mhigo, handing out food and blankets with what little money she is able to collect and spare for the cause. She also assists some of the high houses in Ishgard in their own charitable works.
- When she is actively engaged in Charity work, Enambris will remove all of her armor, save her blade, but will cover her hair and face.
Guardianship
- When Enambris needs to blow off steam, rather than indulging in random sex or fighting in alleys, she will offer herself as a guardian. Mainly, these activities are short-term duration and high-intensity, but often yield the greatest reward to her: the intense heat of battle. While she does typically maintain the focus of the quarry, it is rare that she will actually do any of the slaying.
- This is mainly my way of explaining an IC reason for dungeons and trials.
Payment
- Perhaps one of her most admirable (or naïve) qualities is that she will only take payment from those who have enough to spare it. She will generally refuse payment from the homeless, those in the Brume, or the refugees from Doma and Ala Mhigo, though there are sometimes those who insist on paying her.
- When offering guardianship, working for someone whose cause is just, or other employments besides charitable works, she will often collect payment in either favors or supplies that can be provided back to the Network.

Ripped From the Headlines...
- ■ Enambris is the head of a large-spanning organization called the Glass Network. Composed of parties from all political and social walks of life, she coordinates and leads various missions to end or subvert threats to the public. Often the Network is openly recruiting, and rarely rejects any who wish to aid in keeping the world relatively safe from earth-shattering threats.
- ■ Faced with the threat of a gallows glass plague, Enambris stumbled into the founding of the Glass Network, a group dedicated to collecting gallows glass, destroying it, stopping distribution, and dealing with victims. Since its founding, she has come under additional attempts of harm and has been followed and attacked on several occasions in both Ul'dah and Ishgard.
- ■ Publicly accused of heresy by a pair of Inquisitors far from Ishgard, Enambris was forced to demand trial by combat while spending some time in the Quick Sand. A knight by the name of Eloise came to her aid in fighting the pair, and she was successful in her trial.
- ■ Finally learning the nature of the weapon that had stabbed her, Enambris realized she'd been infected with Gallows Glass. In a race against time, she and a group of soldiers delved into The Coil and retrieved a pair of very powerful aether crystals, both of which were implanted into her chest to stop the glass from reaching her heart.

Public Knowledge
- ■ Enambris is the leader of the Glass Network, a group dedicated to eradicating Gallows Glass. As such, she is often in the company of other network members, and her place as leader has put her in harm's way on several occasions.
- ■Having lived in Ishgard for many years, her face is known to those who frequent the Brume, and any who regularly attended Trials for those accused of Heresy. She was accused of heresy three times in the span of five years by the same specific Inquisitor.
- ■Enambris is active in the charitable works scenes of both Ul'dah and Ishgard, particularly in the refugee camps and the Brume.
- ■She spends time between jobs at the Forgotten Knight, but more frequently at the Quick Sand, typically drinking away the day's work.
- ■While she keeps mostly to herself, she's not completely unknown, and the refugees are usually quick to remember her name.
- ■She's become known as a trouble-maker by the Brass Blades, who are leery around her for inspiring a very vocal protest by Ala Mhigan and Doman refugees.
- ■Because of her augmentations, Enambris has a difficult time getting drunk, but becomes much more conversational after a bottle or two of rum, and is not against dabbling in other substances that can make her forget.
- ■She has a very vocal disdain for Garleans, Garlean soldiers, and Garlean sympathizers and is never afraid to say so, but also has a sort of kinship with Garlean defectors and ex-patriots.
- ■While her services are offered primarily to those who cannot defend themselves, Enambris will work with nearly anyone against whom she bears no ill will.
- ■Stories from refugees of an armored maiden defending them from oppressors have been circling Ul'dah's Refugee camps and The Brume of Ishgard.
- ■Assorted pub brawls have stemmed from Enambris' inability to cushion her words. While she's better about it now, for some time she had a bad reputation in the Drowning Wench of being something of a troublemaker.
RP Style
- Medium-Heavy
- I look for RP that's very story-intensive and interaction heavy. The stories I like to join or participate in are usually either short steps in a longer path, or character/world building interactions that help define all parties involved. More than anything, I'm looking for stories and plots that make sense for the character. Pushing the romance angle without any character-based need (or purely to satisfy a need OOC) is weird and besides being uncomfortable, makes for a bad story.
Hours of Operation
- I'm online pretty regularly, usually between 6:30pm and 11:30pm EST during the week and variable, frequent hours during the weekends. I'm generally in-character most of the time I'm logged in, short of being inside instances.
Contacting Me
- Don't hesitate to reach out to me! I'm pretty open and flexible about jumping into and out of stories, and I'm always game for some walk-up or planned plots. Send me a /tell, mail me in-game, add me as a friend!
- You can also message me on the site, message me on Steam (Twistedarcana), or shoot me an email or message on Hangouts at [email protected]
