♦ Appearance
While diminutive, the dusk-skinned Xaela manages to strike an imposing form nonetheless, stance conveying calm confidence in nearly every situation. Fe keeps her hair half-styled, the lower layer left loose beneath the upper layer, woven into a broad braid to keep it from occluding her luminous magenta eyes. Her clothing varies on her duties, but she is wont to wear loose clothing or light armor, even when planning to take the front lines. Despite her disdain for heavy armor, however, she is surprisingly free of scars on scales or flesh.
♦ Behaviour
Fe keeps a level head in nearly all situations. It generally takes a significant threat to innocents to provoke the young woman to lose her temper, and even then, hers is a cold anger, focused on undoing its instigator rather than burning itself out in so much sound and fury. Warm even to strangers, those for whom Fe cares are privileged to a nearly insulting lack of concern for personal space or modesty, regardless of the intensity of the bond- friends are just as subject as lovers.

★ History ★
Fe is the daughter of Saran of the Nixu, once of the Dotharl, and Sadu of the Dotharl. Her mother, Saran, was adopted into the Nixu tribe when it was discovered she had an aptitude for their brand of shamanism. She and her mate, Sadu, spent much time in the camps of each other's tribes, as did many of the Nixu at the time. However, the purge of the Nixu occured not long after Fe's birth. Sadu perished buying time for Saran to hide their daughter, and Saran died in a diversion to keep Fe from being discovered. Fe's adopted grandfather, the last of the Nixu Kensaishi, returned from a trip to hear his granddaughter's hungry wails from her hiding place, and collected the shattered remnants of Fe's parent's weapons, broken in the hopes it would shatter their use as tools of the Kensaishi. Fe has been trained in the ways of the Kensaishi, by her grandfather, but still does not possess a weapon truly made to support her training.

Tribal Information: The Nixu are, functionally, an extinct tribe. Some few members may exist among the Kahkol tribe, but Fe is currently the only known surviving member of the Nixu. They were known for their Kensaishi-
Sword-Shamans, spiritual warriors who channeled the souls of those not yet dissolved into the Aether to gain power and wisdom. This, and their positive relationship with the Dotharl, is the canon reason for their annihilation as a tribe, as many of the other Xaela tribes have their own views on death and the afterlife, for whom this 'abuse' of the deceased would seem blasphemous. The Ugund, in particular, took exception to this, and worked with the remnants of the Hotgo to eliminate the Nixu from the steppes.
