The sea-green Roegadyn is almost always found with a slight smirk and confident stance. Standing eight feet tall, taller than most male Roes, she casts an imposing figure. Her outfit leaves little to the imagination, and her profession is readily apparent. Busty even by Roe standards, she does little to downplay the "roguish pirate" cliche- wearing chains, belts and tied cloth in lieu of most clothing. She is rarely seen without her Tricorne perched upon her head, nor her matching boots. Her gauntlets have what- on a smaller figure- would have been brass knuckles sewn in. However, Coalesca often keeps spare rounds for her rifle in them.

Calling the large woman 'erratic' would be wasting a perfectly good opportunity to use the word 'protean'. Those who have known her for years can sometimes predict how she'll act in perhaps one situation out of ten on a given day, though she does have some common behaviors.

• She'll not tolerate a slaver to live, nor to die quickly.
• If someone expresses an intense dislike of something inane, you can be sure that Coalesca will go out of her way to become an expert and exhibitionist of that inane thing.
• In order of priority: Her lover, her former lovers, her crew, members of the Maelstrom, and everyone else. She can, will, and has killed someone lower on the list to save someone higher.
• She'll never display her intelligence or any of her talents without being required to. Being thought of as a large-chested, flashy, no-brained pirate has kept her alive for four decades.
• She suffers from bloodlust. Not some complicated, dramatic, aether-touched condition. Just a good old-fashioned mental disorder.
