Basic Info
- Faithful at heart, Felix served as an ordained diocesan priest in the Ishgardian Orthodox Church for a number of years prior to the city's opening. A native of Ishgard, Felix resided within The Pillars nearly his entire life, living in the luxury of the Church and his family. As a child, he attended the Saint Endalim Scholasticate, studying the Enchiridion and the theology of the Church. Following his ordainment, Felix studied thaumaturgy under the Deacon Barthelemy Masson. Despite his faith, he abandoned the clergy following the end of the Dragonsong War, unable to reconcile his beliefs with the Church's exposed corruption. Instead, Felix opted to pursue a personal relationship with the Fury and the Twelve, separate from the Church. In recent months, Felix has taken to traveling, using his experiences with nature to inspire his faith and codifying his personal theology.

Biography
As Felix Guillory
- Felix was born into the wealthy upper-class of Ishgard, the youngest son of the Guillory family. Descended from the wealthy Geraldeaux Guillory, his connection to Ishgard's aristocracy afforded him certain privileges in life. Chief among these privileges was a Scholasticate education, which taught him the virtues of piety and noblesse oblige. From a young age, Felix was indoctrinated heavily into the Orthodox Church, and began his as a seminarian with hopes of becoming a deacon. As a teenager, Felix's excellent academic record allowed him to advance in the ranks of the Church to study under the Deacon Barthelemy Masson, who initiated him into the art of Thaumaturgy. Though initially talented, Felix soon began to slack in his studies and became increasingly obsessed with the Church's mendicant orders, the path that his brother pursued.
- This obsession lead to his failure to attain the office of a deacon. Instead of pursuing the path of a thaumaturge, Felix became a diocesan priest, a position which he was dissatisfied with. This dissatisfaction led to "false doctrine," which he was indicted for by his peers. Fortunately, before Felix could be charged with spreading this false doctrine, the Ishgardian Orthodox Church experienced massive political upheaval from the underclasses. This political upheaval provided the perfect smoke screen for Felix's flight from the city. In the month following the death of Archbishop Thordan, Felix left Ishgard and arrived in Gridania.
As Haldrath Richelieu
- The alter ego of Haldrath Richelieu was constructed by Felix during his studies at Saint Endalim Scholasticate as an idealization of himself as a fighting man. Partially motivated by sour relations with his brother, Friar Geraud Guillory, Felix sought out conflict in the Brume under a pseudonym, and eventually became heavily involved in its boxing scene. Initially humiliated by defeat, Felix worked through his physical weakness by adopting a more intuitive style of fighting. Utilizing various dirty tricks, Haldrath eventually became known in the Brume's boxing circles as an underhanded opponent. As Haldrath, Felix associated himself with boxing mogul Yannic Sauvegot, who became his mentor.
