Garon Crayson is a male midlander hyur hailing from the city-state of Gridania, though no longer claiming regional ties. A bounty hunter for hire, Garon specializes in tracking and capturing humanoid targets--including the five races and beastmen--as opposed to the traditional notion of a bounty hunter as slaying marked beast targets. He wears a distinctive set of customized magitek armor that was once Garlean in design.

Appearance
Standing at six fulms, two ilms, and two-hundred and twelve ponzes of lean muscle, Garon looks to be the average midlander hyur, and he goes to great pains to ensure he looks as average as possible. His hair is an almost-auburn brown, worn in a longer, unkempt style. With a light, almost ice, blue eye color, he can very easily pull off the crazed madman look against people he has no appreciation for. His skin tone, due to much time spent wearing his armor, is fair with a light tan.
Garon maintains two sets of armor, an 'incognito' set of banged-up iron armor with which he wields a sword to give him the appearance of a typical, nondescript adventurer. Unless on direct business, this is the armor he typically wears when trawling the various taverns of Eorzea for potential contracts, leaving many blissfully unaware of his status as a bounty hunter. Other times, he'll move about in average hyuran clothes so as to not draw attention to himself.
His 'work' armor was scavenged from a fallen Garlean officer in the days following the Battle of Carteneau, and modified heavily over the years so that it hardly resembles its source form any longer. Notably, it has been painted in a dull charcoal grey coloration and slimmed down to be more form-fitting than is typical of Garlean equipment. The helmet has likewise been modified--though the vast majority of its improvements are internal--to no longer bear the Garlean-style humanoid features, instead now a featureless metal domed bucket with a backlit, glowing blue visor shaped like a flattened T. The backlighting serves no purpose other than to appease his own sense of aesthetics, and can be turned on and off as needed.
Personality
Unusual in the sense that he's a mercenary with morals, this is nonetheless not a facet of his personality that is easily recognized. Far more often, people will note that he is aloof, standoffish, and economical of words, this combined with an intense scowl to often drive off most who would wish to casually converse with him. That said, he has a personal sense of honor that might come across as vague and contradictory to onlookers, driven by a set of moral tenants that he keeps to himself. His word is his bond, however, and once he's committed to a contract, he will see it through to completion, barring extenuating circumstances such as dishonesty on the employer's part. To that end, he is very selective in his choice of contracts, doing research on each mark beforehand to ensure that he does not deliver innocents to certain death. He will not ever accept a contract that he deems will cause long-term harm to Eorzea, and on the one known occasion that he came upon the knowledge that a client had issued a mark on behalf of the Garlean Empire, he came back to that client and promptly executed them on the spot.
Aside from this, he is highly confident in his skills and carries himself accordingly, and this has, on occasion, been known to ruffle the feathers of some authority figures, most of whom promptly backed off when they learned he was an accredited bounty hunter. Should an individual become considered a friend of his, they would be treated to a sharp-witted, sarcastic-in-a-playful-sense, cocky wiseass who nonetheless will kill or die for that individual without it ever being in question.
