Appearance

Izumi is short, thin, and looks incredibly young. Her pale blue skin is freckles with ivory coloured scales, and dark blue hair frames her face. Her eyes are a silvery shade, with a seafoam green ring around the iris. She dresses simply, and plant matter can be found stuck to her clothes and hair.

History

Izumi was born to a family of four in Doma, her mother, father, and elder sister. Her parents owned and operated a flower shop in their town, and life was good for the young Au Ra, her notice of the garlemald occupation next to none. In her teen years Izumi was coming home from a flower harvest and came across her parents hung in the town square. They had been caught resisting the empire and evading the tax collector, only to use that money to fund the resistance. Izumi's sister in an attempt to save her, ferried her to an Aunts house, some few towns away. There Izumi lived until the Garlean Empire razed Doma to the ground, until she made her way to Eorzea.

Personality

Izumi is a chipper sort, not one to let circumstances get her down, or at least that is how she appears in public. In private the young woman can be sullen, moody and often wishes for her family and homeland again. She is not trusting at all, and finds most people to be frightening, especially those of Ishgardian heritage.
