Ka'votu Roya is the eldest daughter of Ka'roya Nunh, and the most capable member of her tribe. A thief, poisoner and loyal-to-a-fault to her tribe. She doesn't go out of her way to seek or make trouble, that just happens to be where the gil is; and gil puts food on the table.

• "Ka Poison" - A powerful paralytic poison coating all her weapons and needles. Derived from the 'Deep Cactus' unique to the Ka tribe's mythril mines, it causes instant paralysis while retaining consciousness for a period of time ranging from 5 minutes to 2 hours, depending on dose.
• "Hidden Needles" - The Ka hunt with dried cactuar needles, dipped in their poison. Each huntress trains on throwing the needles like darts.
• "Trapped Clothing" - Ka'votu's person is trapped with needles here and there, making grappling the Miq'ote a risky venture.
• "Blowgun" - A recent tool purchased at the Watcher's Eye market. From the Far East, it can fire needles accurately at up to 40 fulms.

Ka'votu is mostly as she appears on-model. She has a slight muscle definition, but not near so as much as a bodybuilder. She is athletic and nimble. A tomboy who grew into her shape over time, but never gave up the attitude.

Biography

Ka'votu Roya is the eldest daughter of Ka'roya Nunh, and the most capable member of her tribe. This is not to say she is of tremendous talent, but rather that her tribe is very small and consists mostly of elderly. With five younger sisters between 6 and 19, and five aunts\mothers all older than 45 with a Nunh in his early 60's, the spry 20-year-old Miq'ote can boast being the 'fastest and strongest' of the Ka.

Votu's tribe lives deep in the south-western Sagolii desert, isolated by the treacherous conditions and the scars of the Calamity. A former mining village, the Ka have taken up the creation of a highly specialized poison in the wake of their Mythril running dry (and the U cornering the market anyhow.)

A small tribe of twelve with only one male, who is beyond fertility, can find itself facing extinction. To that end, Ka'roya Nunh sent his eldest daughter to the "Big Cities" to gather information, collect gil to purchase shippable resources with, and eventually to find a suitable Tia for the young women of the tribe. Ka'votu's every contribution will aide in keeping the Ka tribe going.

Shortly after arriving in Ul'dah, Ka'votu found herself channeled toward the Long Climb Trading Company. Mostly due to the potency of her tribe's poisons. They had a use for it, and were willing to purchase it. The group and Ka'votu did business, and the tribal wound up sticking around. Now she's a full fledged employee, funneling her cuts of their work back to her tribe in the Sagolii.

♥ Katharina Balk - The head of Long Climb Trading Co. She was the first 'City Dweller' to aide Votu, and in doing so saved her tribe from an ugly fate. Ka'votu has come to see Blue as a kindof idol. She works as the woman's assistant and tag-along, even if never officially given that position.

♥♥↓ Aster Koramire - The (former) Doctor of Long Climb Trading Co. Their first encounter had them threatening eachother's lives. Yet despite the rocky start, the pair have become close for one reason or another. The entire situation is very confusing for both of them.

Good Standing

♦ The Whole of Long Climb - Zahzi, Vex, Mishka, Jayce and nearly all of the employees of Long Climb have become a kind of extended family to the tribal. The ones she didn't get along with have a nasty habit of exploding.

♦ Skylar Steelheart - A former member of Long Climb, Skylar has been kind and protective of Votu in the past.

♦ Shining Feather - Skylar's bodyguard and confidant, Feather has come to Votu's aide a few times in the past.

Neutral Standing

● Kyara Moshroka - Initially, Ka'votu adored and respected Kyara for her brusque ways and quick wisdom. Counting the older Miq'ote among one of the betters the Cities had to offer. However, following several tension-filled and near-death encounters with the head of Carbuncle Armaments, Votu's trust of the crazy old bird has gone down considerably.

● Kale Aideron - The leader of the 4th Brigade, an arm of the Immortal Flames. Kale encountered Ka'votu as she attempted to rob a merchant they themselves were intending to capture. For her aide, Kale forgave the crime but insisted she report to their garrison. After a few mishaps, he ordered her shot. She escaped, but that made an instant enemy of the man. However: It was later revealed Kale is Katharina's brother, leading the tribal to force forgiveness. The two have an understanding now.

Poor Standing

↓ Char Lohengrin - The shady leader of Laughing Armaments. This Keeper is a snobbish, rude and dismissive villain. Ka'votu doesn't trust a word he says.

Ka Tribe Resources

NOTE: This information acts as a kind of 'mini-game' for Ka'votu and people she interacts with. A tracker to follow how her actions and the actions of others may impact the small tribe. 'Donations' from players with 'obscene wealth' will be hand-waived as not occurring. I appreciate the interest in the story, but it is no fun to spoil the whole thing by having your character donate millions to my character for no recompense.

Large donations of direct gil will be reduced to minimal values.
