GENERAL INFORMATION

Kensaki no Kiyotsuno, or just Kiyo, was the Channeler for his village's shrine, 'divining with the spirits' on a daily basis through prayer for his people and practicing as a Sage. Or so that is what he believed. In reality, he was just a thaumaturge ignorant to how it really worked. Although, with his mother falling ill and the lack of funds to provide care for her, he turned to a job on a very different side of the spectrum. He went from a highly regarded holy figure, to becoming a Kagema, or a young male prostitute. Referred to as The White O'hara, he was eminent within the Oiran, and received just as high pay as he did praise. However his efforts were for naught, as no amount of prayer or medicine could save his mother. With no more purpose, he left Othard and came to Eorzea to find a new meaning. He is now the proprietor of The White Rose, an Oichaya/Kagemajaya, a tea house that provides entertainment and services of all kinds.

• Primary Weapon: Komyusei, crafted from the dying sacred Astral Birch tree of the village, is a staff passed down through the village channelers that supposedly amplifies the sage's communications with the spirits and provides great power
• Secondary Weapons: Saisho is a simple bow that Kiyo had taken from the archery range to practice with, despite not being allowed to wield a weapon of war. Although simple, the bow has beautiful engravings and is rather sturdy. Enough so that he's had it since he was eight.

Face:

Kiyo bears a strong resemblance to a woman, despite being a male. He as delicate features that often have him mistaken for one.

Eyes:

With a downward almond shape, Kiyo's eyes are what you would call aqua with a white limbal ring. Despite looking rather kind, there is a distinct numbed dullness in them.

Hair:

Kiyo's shoulder length hair with soft waves was what earned him his stage name, due to its pearly white color. Slick and shiny, it is almost hard to view in the sun.

Body:

Although some would call his body frail or fragile, he prefers the terms 'lithe' or 'supple'. Although his weight is distributed in good proportions, there is not much to distribute. Everything about his body seems womanly except for... ahem. Though his pale scales and spiked tail compliment his just as pale body.

♦ PERSONALITY

Kiyo had lived the better part of his life trying to help and please others, and in a way he still is but with a more cynical outlook. Going from a sweet boy who brightened the day of those in the village, Kiyotsuno will often times get in very dark moods... not that he'd let anyone see that. Despite his polite and outgoing demeanor, there is a certain emptiness inside him that can't seem to be touched.

Although their relationship pushes the boundaries, he'd never be able to see him in any romantic light. Tsukiko Tsurugi - Childhood Friend ╰ ♥ ♦ ● ╮ Kiyotsuno's thoughts: "He was probably my first crush, but I am long passed that. However, he still remains very important to me." Tsukiko was Kiyo's best friend growing up, and still is rather close with him. They came to Eorzea together, keeping their friendship going. Although Kiyotsuno knows his friend's dark secret, he never lets on that he doe for the sake of their relationship. Tsukiko would often visit Kiyo at the shrine knowing full well he was not allowed visitors for long periods of time, the little secret of their communication blossoming into a lifelong friendship.

OOC INFORMATION Roleplay Notes Circumstances ■ Although polite and seemingly optimistic, Kiyo is a rather jaded person. ■ Kiyotsuno will often become lost and though and may need a snap back to reality. ■ Although good with being center stage, actual admiration towards him in a conversation may make him feel uncomfortable as he is surprisingly humble. Personal RP Limits Things that I will USUALLY refuse to roleplay out. ■ I am open to all types of RP, but major injuries should be consented by me before it happens. I will usually allow you to do all but kill or handicap him. ■ I rather like this character I developed and would appreciate it if you didn't kill him. Amputation, handicapping, and killing are a big no-no. . ■ Please do not pressure me into things. I will say no to something I am uncomfortable with (which is something rare), and am a pushover so I would appreciate it if you would just leave it at that.
