This is a WIP - changes might happen - A bit of history - Luna's mother (Momoka) was a beautiful woman working as a massage therapist in a spring in Kugane. Voices about her miraculously good massages quickly spread across the city and when Momoka was just bit over 19 years old, she was "hired" (she didn't really have a choice) to privately serve the Empire. Once on duty on a trip across the sea to Ala Mhigo, the ship encountered a storm and sank. Momoka and few other survivors made it to the shore, but were welcomed by the hostile locals and wilderness. Momoka escaped through the forest until she eventually met a bunch of locals from the Resistance. Among them, a Highlander more mature man (Helgrim), tall and muscular, with a proud posture, thick ginger hair and long mustache, and amber eyes. Momoka was short and tiny, with long black and silky hair, deep black eyes and pale white skin. Between these two it was love at first sight, he was protecting her, she was healing his wounds and his soul. Luna (or Mami) was the fruit of their love and passion. Helgrim actually already had a life partner and several sons, but the fire between the couple was long extinguished, and the other woman welcomed Momoka in their life like a fresh breeze. The strange but tight big family lived together for several years, Momoka was learning everything about uses and lifestyle in Gyr Abanya, while teaching Mami what she could about Doman traditions. The name "Mami" was decided by Momoka, however that little skimpy girl with rebellious ginger hair was called by everyone "The Firefly" and later on, renamed into "Luna" to fit more with the Ala Mhigan traditions. - TRAINING - MEDITATION - Luna wanted to learn the way of the Monks, her father was a Fist of Rhalgr and she respected him deeply. However, despite all the efforts of Helgrim and Luna's brothers in teaching her, she was just not cut for that. Blessed with good agility but lacking strength, her moves resembled more of a dance, rather than a martial art. With time, she learned to match her father's teaching with her own style, mixing punches, kicking and elements manipulation with more gracious, nearly dancing moves, and often using two small sharp daggers rather than knuckles, kettles, or her bare fists. While Luna can read (and more than one language) she has a very selective way to listen and learn. If she is not interested in something, there is just no way she will learn it, and probably will forget it after few minutes. Sometimes, she may even sound a bit dumb, in a cute way, yet she will surprise anyone with her large knowledge on the matters she truly cares about.
One day, after her usual training together with other friends of her age, she was bullied and mocked more than usual. She was used to being mocked due to her tiny size, odd look and name, but that day it was just particularly heavy on that 15 years old Luna. They kept calling her "Mommy" instead of "Mami", telling her she was weak, and also pushed her in a pond of mud. When she returned home, covered in mud, and her mother asked her what happened, Luna lost her chill and blamed her mother for her skimpy size and odd look. Luna shouted at her mother and told her cruel things she didn't really think, and then left, slamming the door and disappearing in the forest for a while. When she returned, her mother was not at home. All her belongings were still there, but she was not at home, and that never happened at supper time. For several days, weeks, months, the whole village looked for Momoka, but there was just no trace of her anywhere. Luna was heartbroken, she was blaming herself for what happened, and never managed to find the guts to tell her father about the discussion she and Momoka had. Luna has been training harder ever since, sure that one day she will find her mother and apology to her, and bring her back.
- PRESENT - Luna is now pretty grown up, she is still petite but with nice curves at the right place. Her body doesn't usually go unobserved, and she started to wear tight bandages to hide her breasts at least, as she doesn't like to have men staring at her. She is an interesting and messy mix between an Ala Mhigan and a Doman woman, and she is often feeling conflicted about the nearly opposite teachings and uses. She tries to look fierce and strong, but in truth she is sensitive and fragile. After the wall was finally conquered, she decided to make her way there. Her goal was to join some merchant ship to Kugane, she was sure her mother was hiding somewhere there, and she needed to find her.
