Maelys is a curious and rather eccentric young lalafell, born in the rich lands of Wineport, in an eminent family of wineyard's owners. Thanks to the work of her father, a famous wine merchant, she lived spoiled rotten, along the trade and sea commercial routes, where she developed a taste for all the legends and mysteries of the lands of Eorzea.
Her carefree attitude is part of her charms, but do not doubt : she is clever, cunning and resilient, even when she's facing deadly threats.
Nowadays, she lives on the road, trying to uncover all the secrets from various lands across Eorzea (and share it with the rest of the world !). She is always looking for rumours and that is precisely why taverns and pubs are where you will probably encounter her.
Rather tall in size for a lalafell, Maelys possess typical agility for a lalafell, and use it to wander the roads everyday. She still developped a belly since she eats a huge amount of snacks and probably drinks more than she can. She keep rather short auburn hair, which highlights the apple green's color of her eyes. She has round cheeks, which makes her look like a child (but again, lalafells always look childlike for others races).
Scars & Markings: Maelys doesn't have any apparent markings, but she hides two tatoo: one on her back, an infinity symbol blooming as a red flower. the second on her wrist, with the lady of the crown symbol (from astrologian cards).
Clothing: She is rather in a casual attire, or an adventurer's one depending on the situation. She likes feminine but rather simple attires, and she dislikes anything too "sexy".

Stances on RP: I'm on the beginner's road in the RP community for FFXIV, so I'm going for light RP, with emphasis on light-hearted settings. I kinda like investigations & detective plot, similar to what we have with the Manderville storyline. I don't like unnecessary bloodshed, or overpowered types of characters. I'm okay with breaking the lore if it's not too "big". Hooks and relationships: Totally open to any idea that can provide potential quality RP with my character. If you feel that my character profile can provide a hook for a story you have in mind, don't hesitate to reach me out to see what can be done! I am also definitely open for family ties, or background/business connections between characters.
RP combat and injuries: I like to use dices and bonus/malus depending of the characters'background (fully trained knight vs. farmer with a dagger). I can agree with injuries but I prefer to discuss it in advance. I am not okay with permanent death.
Important! If anything that my character does or says unsettles you in an OOC manner, or if suddenly you are not okay with something in my RP, please let me know right away! Communication is key!
