N'okhu Hoshiki is a dragon mage from Southern Thanalan with mysterious origins. He doesn't know who his parents are, but he'd been raised by an elder Nunh who said he was found near a void tear as an infant. He's discovered some ties to the Dravanian race and has inherited both strong fire-based magic as well as the ability to easily channel the aetherial remnants of Bahamut to use powerful spells. In spite of wielding strong offensive magic, he's very down to earth and kind, spending most of his time helping local folks rather than taking part in any wars or large-scale battles. He devotes himself to living as normally and simply as possible, though lately, he's had a harder and harder time remaining uninvolved and ignorant, especially when he hears a voice every night bidding him to travel to Azys Lla and unlock the mysteries of his true identity.

Short like the average miqo'te, N'okhu contains a lot of compact bulk that boasts high speed and strength. His skin is mostly flawless, possessing the ability to heal rather quickly, and the only notable marks he has are the miqo'te tattoos on his face and a small patch of translucent scales around the base of his tail. In spite of being a desert-dwelling Seeker, his skin is unnaturally pale and light due to mixed blood. His eyes also faintly glow when he uses his powers.

Biography

Found in Southern Thanalan while young, N'okhu believed himself to be a Seeker for many years and grew up under one of the tribes lead by N'egi Nunh who raised him and taught him how to fight. When he was fifteen, his mentor passed away after being slain by a Garlean imperial and a tournament was held to choose the next successor. N'okhu defeated the other elders of the tribe and took the title of Nunh, but haunted by his own self-doubts and anxieties trying to mate with the females of his tribe, he ran away and spent some time selling his body for gil. He met Ryuh'a while on the streets and became fast friends with him until they had to temporarily part ways. Eventually he met Klair Gavin in Ul'dah near a waterfall in the Forgotten Springs while calling himself Auriel Caius after a famous Elezen knight from one of his favorite fantasy serials, and Klair was the one who brought him to Othard with him and introduced him to Megumi's tribe. There, N'okhu lived for a few years hunting with the Keepers and integrating with them and even starting a casual relationship with Ryuh'a who he had reunited with there.

When Megumi and her tribe decided to travel to Eorzea, he came along with them and was lost in Ul'dah in the wreck. To make ends meet, he returned to his life as a courtesan and began selling his body once more for anyone willing. He eventually grew tired of that lifestyle and entertaining those he had no feelings for, especially after Ryuh'a asked for an eternal bond with him. Before accepting, N'okhu decided to set forth on a journey of self-discovery and had volunteered himself in an experiment to enter the void. While in the void, time had become irrelevant, though he felt as though an eternity had passed by in there. The traumatic effects had left him with his hair white and caused the patch of scales at the base of his tail to spread a bit more and become more translucent, hinting at some Dravanian blood in his lineage.

Now free of the void, N'okhu has reinvented himself as a dragon mage and plans to wed his long-time lover and best friend, Ryuh'a.
