About Noah
Noah is a somewhat stoic but overall friendly Keeper who is currently renting a room at the Quicksand Tavern in Ul'dah.
For the last few years Noah has found himself wandering Eorzea; moving initially from Coethas to La Noscea to Thanalan, leading him to where he is now. He's fairly new to the city but was able to find enough stable work to keep him busy until he decides what his next step will be - whether to settle down in Ul'dah or move on elsewhere.
As he's become more comfortable in the city he has begun to find it easier to meet people. He considers himself lucky enough to have gotten to know a small handful of people very closely, and considers them to be very good friends.
Appearance
Noah is a Keeper by appearance, with pale skin, white hair and dull yellow eyes. He stands just above average height and strikes a slim but fit figure - his exercise routine won't have him lifting boulders on his shoulders any time soon but it keeps him healthy and nimble.
While he would normally have been found wearing a random assortment of garments that only barely match, he has recently began to spend a bit more time on his appearance favouring comfortable quality clothing with a small amount of padding and protection.
Personality
His appearance is where the traits of being a Keeper have stopped - his personality is far more like that of a middle class Ishgardian Elezen as a result of being brought up in the Coerthas region. Even his name doesn't hold to the typical Miqo'te clan style.
At first glance people may be a little put off from approaching Noah due to his stoic and serious look, but rest assured that this isn't intentional and the moment that he realises that someone is interacting with him the stoic expression quickly changes to an easy-going smile. It's this easy-going personality that he tries to express to people the most. He'll offer a smile or laugh to just about anything and he does his best not to judge anyone based on their appearance or lifestyle choices. Noah can be a fairly easy person to talk to as he's always happy to listen and is far more comfortable asking the questions rather than answering them. When he does get asked a question that he's not keen on answering he tends to quickly divert it away from himself with a dismissive hand gesture or question back towards his conversation partner.
Work
Noah is currently employed by the aspiring legendary Popoto farmer Xaora Hel'wicht in capacity as her head ‘I pay you, don't I? Do what I say’ hand. His roles are numerous and include harvesting the popoto crop, preparing new land by clearing out pests, singing the popotos a soft lullaby as the sun sets and a whole range of other similar tasks.
Infrequently he is required to guard the transport of produce to clients. This allows him the opportunity to travel to various parts of Thanalan, La Noscea and the Black Shroud which he always enjoys - being on the road is natural to him at this stage.
Noah has other commitments which infrequently call him away form Ul’dah for weeks at a time. These he chooses to keep private.
Abilities and Skills
General
Noah is humble and restrained in how he describes himself and his abilities, stating only that he can 'handle himself' if the subject is ever brought up. That said, he is a skilled lancer and does his best to keep those skills in check though moderate training when the time allows. His training is always alone.
Noah will never brag about his combat prowess and should any conflict arise, he will always try to settle it with words rather than weapons.

Relationships
Noah is currently single and, while not closed off to the idea of a relationship, is not actively seeking one. He tends to shrug off and divert away any flirtatious attempts which can often make him appear innocent to them. This, however, doesn't make him immune to developing feelings for people he has gotten close to, which is a situation he currently finds himself struggling to come to terms with after being so detached from people for so long.
Additonal Information
- Noah is rarely without a lance. He currently wields a standard white tipped lance of Ishgardian design which he has grown some affinity for regardless of how basic it is.
- When looking for a more interesting drink than water, Noah will often be found drinking a light brown liqueur which tastes vaguely of almonds. Due to the preference of whisky to the Quicksand regulars he appears to be the only one drinking the stuff which is problematic due to the bottle being old, having no label and Momodi unable to remember when or where she bought it. His supply is quickly running out...
- Regardless of this, he'll often drop a glass of it in front of people to get their opinions on the taste.
- His warm drink of choice is currently a cinnamon spiced tea. Not so much for the flavour, but because it brings back very fond memories of a certain soothing day spent in Mor Dhona.
- Noah can often feel uncomfortable around other Miqo'te. Due to growing up away from a clan he lacks the feeling of kinship and ability to bond with others who have.
- While this would never stop him from speaking with others of his race, it does lead to him feeling more at ease around Elezen and Hyur.
- Rumour has it that Noah has a poster of the Azure Dragoon hung on his wall. Sources are unconfirmed.
