GENERAL APPEARANCE: A small woman, petite and lithe, in all sense of the words. Almost as if, were you to touch her, she would break, collapse like a house of cards, shatter like glass. Octavia's skin is fair, though a healthy hue, with faint freckles dotting it here and there, mostly her shoulders and cheeks. Her hair is a soft blonde, and once fondly compared to dawn by her late mother and then by the rest of her tribe. When she was younger, her hair would grow to such great lengths, she'd often braid it in places, also allowing her family to do the same when they requested, placing flowers atop her head for decoration and headdresses. When she'd fallen into the facade of her current self, she'd been forced to cut it, working in the hot Doma climate with such thick locks making it more of a nightmare than it already was. Presently, however, she's growing it and braiding it more often.
Octavia's eyes are golden honey, with brighter gold limbal rings. Her nails are kept long, but sensible, painted different colors when the mood presents itself. At times she wears lip gloss, but she always has soft pink eye shadow in the inner of her eyes. All in all, the Xaela gives off a pleasant and welcoming demeanor, enjoying the company of many, yet keeping herself a mystery as much as possible, especially around other Xaela, and though she can be a bit prejudicial of her own kind, Octavia attempts to give them the benefit of the doubt.
SCARS & MARKINGS: Though one could hardly tell, due to the fact that she keeps most of her skin covered at all times, especially her torso and lower half, Octavia's form is riddled with scars, some more noticeable than others. It's clear she's seen her own fair share of fights, despite being so frail looking.

ATTIRE:
Never revealing, only in the company of those she trusts, which realistically is quite small. It's clear she's not exactly prude, making it hard to understand why she hides behind layers of clothing, though once removed it's understandable why. There's a sense of shame, she has if seen so exposed, one assuming embarrassment, but missing the mark entirely. More so she detests that she had lived while those she loved had died, and the scars she has are her own, only meant for her eyes, to remember the past, to remember her guilt.
Octavia enjoys fabrics of all kind, leather being a favorite to wear when she's out in the field. Her preferred colors are royal blue and millioncorn yellow. She loves patterns, especially traditional hingan. Takane once brought her back a kimono from her travels, and it quickly became her favorite to wear around the estate.
Visibly, Octavia is a friendly and outspoken individual. The smile on her is ever present, her laughs cheerful. In a sense, she appears to be a very kind woman, and while for the most part that's true, there's more to her than just her soft, sweet eyes, mannerisms and voice.
Octavia Ethesa is a liar. Deceitful. Secretive. In fact, the person she claims to be is nothing more than a carefully crafted facade to protect herself and the her that she used to be.
Orebi Qalli was a small, albeit weak girl. She'd been hurt, been wounded, and wasn't for the world she'd been thrust in so Octavia formed. She was strong-willed, decisive and capable.
The person she is today was never who she wanted to be, a double agent, a part she plays. Almost too well.

- Steppe Tea - She doesn't have it anymore, but fondly remembers her mother's recipe. Efforts to recreate it herself have had little to no success..
- The Azim Steppe - It's too painful to return. Too many memories she'd rather forget.
- The Jhungid Tribe - Petty, arrogant, blindly ambitious. Does winning really mean that much to you?
- Fighting - Though quite skilled, imbued with magic words whispered to the arrows she once loosed, in her present day persona, she steers clear of confrontation leaving it to her partner to handle. Don't mistake her reluctance to fight as weakness, however. You'll regret it. If driven into a corner or challenged, she won't back down.

Where she excelled in ranged combat, however, due to her small form, melee combat was a difficult, if not impossible endeavor. Currently, her partner has attempted to train her in the blade, both dagger and katana, she still lacks the force. Despite this, Octavia's agility and high stamina from growing up in the steppes allows her to put distance between her and her opponent, and dance fairly well through attacks.
Were she challenged, Octavia could still find her hands taking up her old ways, holding her title indefinitely.
Though Octavia's disposition is that of a friendly person, and she often engages in others, the truth is the Xaela trusts very, very few. She lies, fabricates in order to keep many at bay.

■ She's from a sect of the Qalli tribe that was wiped out. | Though she hides it behind a facade, as well as a psuedo name, Octavia was once Orebi Qalli, the lone survivor of a small separate sect of Qalli, as well as the chieftan's daughter. It would be common knowledge throughout of the others of a loss from their ranks. Maybe other Xaela tribes might have heard of this act, though perhaps may be lesser known by larger, stronger tribes. ■ If you are of the Jhungid, Octavia will not be keen to your company | As their attempts to subjugate her tribe into their ranks for their own petty feud with the Kharlu led to her own tribes destruction, the Xaela, upon finding out your origin, would noticeably show signs of tension and want to leave. Whether you allow her to, or question her, is up to you. ■ She's a Cartographer and Navigator for both Land and Sea | Though it's a job she does very rarely anymore, as her bond mate makes enough money for the both of them to sit pretty, she wouldn't pass up a good opportunity for a bit of exploration and gil. ■ She frequents the Quicksand, the Gold Court and Idyllshire's Garden | Quicksand and the Gold Court for people watching, which is her favorite past time, and Idyllshire's Garden area for when she desires peace and relaxation. ■ Au Ra | Raen - She doesn't harbor ill thoughts or opinions towards them, perhaps more inclined to speaking with them openly than her own. The white scales are a huge change for her, and Octavia finds she enjoys them more aesthetically than her own. They, however, are still coarse, and she finds herself lacking some amount of interest in them due to it. Raen do not have tribes, which is slightly difficult to understand considering the Steppe and it's many. She wonders how they deal with that, and if it feels lonely, even though they still have a family as she did. ■ Au Ra | Xaela - She's not keen in most their company due to her own prejudice for them. She'll still speak to most of them respectfully, and finds herself enjoying some tribes more than others such as the Mol and Ejinn, typically the less hostile and more peaceful ones. The Jhungid and Kharlu are, however, judged harshly, especially the former due to her history with a sect of them. The Dotharl are scrutinized for their extreme hostility, but slightly admired for their confidence and lack of fear of death. All in all, Octavia will always be respectful towards most, unless given a reason not to. The Jhungid, though, will always be met with tension, there is no way to ease this unless you prove you do not support said tribe anymore or have intentions that would put her in harms way. ■ Miqo'te | Seekers of Sun / Keepers of Moon - It's clear she's quite bias towards the cat folk. Either clan is greeted with enthusiasm, partly due to their furry nature. Such a drastic change compared to the Auri, one would assume her interest in them harbored wishes to be like them, and she'd be lying if she said it wasn't true. To her, they are truly beautiful, no matter the shapes or sizes. ■ Hyur | Midlander / Highlander - Hairless Miqo'te, and when they are hairy, they're trying to become miqo'te, but doing a very bad job. She's been told this is not a nice observation. Jokes aside, she doesn't harbor any real opinions of them. Some are quite attractive. ■ Elezen | Duskwight / Wildwood - She doesn't have much of an opinion of them, besides recognizing that they look very intelligent and elegant for their heights. Also sometimes they look like they have a stick up their asses...she's been told this is not a nice thing to think. Who'd have thought? ■Roegadyn | Hellsguard / Seawolves - It's not as if she doesn't like them, it's just that their sheer size, man or woman, are far greater than her own. She's hyper aware of this, given that in the past in the steppes she'd fought large beasts with her tribe. The likes were always honored for their size, thus she treats Roegadyns with much more respect, careful around them. She's not scared of them, she just doesn't want her small feet stepped on... ■ Lalafell | Dunesfolk / Plainsfolk - They used to be elezen, right? And their cultural practices dictated that their parents place large volumes upon their heads in order to shorten them, which in turn would make them look like pears with pointy ears? No? She's confused on how something could be so much shorter than her, which is quite a feat. She doesn't have much of an opinion besides that. They seem quite cunning, but their whole cute appearance kind of hurts that. Is that how people look at her? |
