Overview

Ruby was found left behind as an infant by a pair of eldery highlanders. Who gladly took her and raised her as one of their own. A simple family who had little but lived happily together. Unfortunately, old age claimed both their lives eventually. Leaving Ruby with a small inherited house when she barely reached adulthood. At that time, the young female roegadyn sought the live out of an adventurer. Learning the ways of the archer while venturing through Gridania and taking up the ways of the sword in ul'dah. For a while it seemed her entire life revolved around adventuring alone. Until she met the love of her life. Romance bloomed and her life was moving away from her adventuring days. She got engaged and for a moment, life seemed to smile upon her. Only for an unknown disease to claim her future husband's life.

If that wasn't enough, the day came soon afterwards where dalamud descended and unleashed the elder primal Bahamut on the world. The sight of many people dieing and her husband's death, caused for Ruby to steer away from the path of the adventurer. No longer did she want to see people die in front of her eyes. Instead her hands would be used to save, nurture and educate them. Joining and learning the way of the alchemist. Picking up the basics of conjury and providing tutoring in adventuring and combat.
