Appearance

  • Ht: 7 fulms 5 ilms
  • Wt: 375 ponz
  • Age: 42
  • Hair: Bald w/ black facial hair
  • Eyes: Red

This hulking, lumbering giant can frequently be seen working around the kitchens of the Bismark as well as a passerby in the Coral Tower. He's very imposing at first glance as one could wonder how he manages to not squash any of his fellow cullinarians in such a crowded and hectic environment. Swyrbhrat started balding in his late teens and has decided to shave his head completely. His eyes are a deep red only perpetuating the aura of intimidation around him. Some children of the area always try to provoke him to give his "Death Stare" which always sends them screaming and laughing. Many scars adorn his face evidence of a seasoned mercenary. Alongside his right cheek is a tribal style tattoo he obtained during his many years at sea.

History

Born in 1535 on the 15th day of the Sixth Astral Moon, Swyrbhrat received his name from his father Syrhberk "Fearless Mountain" for almost killing his mother Abylblyss "Rage Blossum" during child birth. He was so large that the wagering of his birthweight completely eclipsed expectations. Being born into the pirate community Swyrbhrat's size made him a target for numerous scuffles with other children. More often than not he was praised for his fortitude and ability to take on many others but he never initiated the confrontations, it was more of a game to him for them to seek him out. His reputation for being a bruiser earned him the attention of his parents clan "Wights of the Deep".

In his late teens and early twenties Swyrbhrat and his father sailed together on many raiding excursions attacking both merchants and other rival pirate clans, until one day their captain miscalculated the strength and ferocity of an intended target, a mysterious pirate clan only known as "The Maldoran". When both fleets collided, the Wights soon found themselves over-matched with many vessels retreating. Swyrbhrat's father was killed during one of the boarding melees leaving him borderline hysterical with grief. The long voyage home didn't alleviate his heart however when the sight of one of the Maldoran flagships "The Einherjar" was docked at their village port. The Wight sailors charged in blinded by their rage with most being killed. Swyrbhrat searched for his mother only to find her corpse atop a mass of burning bodies which spurred a berserking, rage filled slaughter of Maldoran swashbucklers. He soon became overwhelmed and captured, left alive for his marital prowess and kept as a slave.

During his mid twenties to age thirty-five Swyrbhrat served under the captain of the Einherjar and crew with a notorious reputation for it's ruthlessness and for their bloody tavern brawls in Lominsa ports. Serving as both a deckhand and the ship's cook, Swyrbhrat earned the trust of the crew to satisfy their famished bellies after a long hard day of pillaging. Around the 4th Umbral Moon of 1570, the Einherjar left Lominsa's port fully stocked ready to set sail for yet another pillaging trip when Swyrbhrat executed his revenge poisoning the rum and food leaving him the sole survivor of the crew. Heaving the bodies overboard, he made his way back to port and sold the ship to the highest bidder. Many a suspicious rumor swirl within pirate circles about the giant that walked out alone from one of the most ruthless pirating crews to sail the Indigo and Bloodbrine seas. Swyrbhrat was content with ending his pirating career and with the money from the Einherhar he purchased his personal crown jewel, his butcher shop simply named "Meat" located down the street from The Bismark, thus earning his nickname.

As time passed Meat hired to employees that he came to adopt through his travels. Nanomi Nomi and Skaenstyra Roehdornnwyn can be usually seen tending his shop while he's out on escort. http://xi7.enjin.com/forum/m/16164831/viewthread/8806779-little-lost-flower-beautiful-star/page/1

Behavior

While physically imposing, many who have gotten to know him find out that he is rather jolly and gentle considering his past ordeals. A fan of the local children, he has no qualms offering pastries and samplers when he isn't focused on carving up his pastime. Over the years Swyrbhrat has learned to keep his temper in check though when out on the battlefield the mere whirling wind buffet of the juggernaut's axe can turn many a head. Forsaking the life of piracy, Meat still loves to be out in the open sea air. He doesn't mind joining local fishermen once in a while, providing his strength to aid in their catch of the day, for a discount of course.
