Character
General
A young swordswoman come to Ul'dah with vague ambitions of fame and fortune, but largely just seeking adventure.
Appearance
Looks: A Miqo'te girl of an apparent nineteen or so years and just a little on the short side of her kind's average. T'aemi has moderate length auburn hair, most often tied tied in a pair of face-framing braids and a little tail atop between her ears. Fairly large brown eyes amidst a softly featured, albeit quite full-lipped face.
Fair skinned by and large, although the very few markings she sports are of a slightly darker shade. Her body, despite the toning of an adventurer with a predilection for melee, still maintains a distinctly feminine aspect, particularly about the chest. Her tail is of middling length, falling as it does to just below her knees, and is of course furred in the same red-browns as her hair, as are her ears.
Clothing: While rarely seen out of combat gear of some form or another, T'aemi has a strong preference for the lighter sorts of armour - most often tabards and leathers with a tendency to wear browns and greys rather than flashier colours. Still she is not unfamiliar with heavier armours, and while she might dislike wearing the various sorts of plate for every day activities she often will suit up in much heavier gear when facing a clearer endeavour, such as a dungeon or other such assault.
Combat
Style
A gladiator by style, T'aemi's combat form clearly shows the influence of the coliseum guild's training.
Weapons
While not unfamiliar with most types of blade, T'aemi leans toward the heavier one-handed weapons. She's particularly fond of the macuahuitl, though not averse to wielding more typical swords where necessary, and will often prefer nimbler wooden shields where possible.
Notes
T'aemi is a much more free-form design than most of my characters, and as such her details have been a little hard to have written up from the beginning. I will be adding to this page wherever possible as roleplay progresses.
