Appearance & Personality

Nature & Demeanor

Demeanor: Laid-back and relatively reserved, though in familiar company he is not afraid to be outgoing and exchange barbs. One can most often find him at the back of a conversation, he loves to listen to all kinds of people (especially where it provides an insight into other ways of life to his own), but will often listen more than he shares unless asked.

Nature: Being raised in culture of many cultures, he generally values the customs and laws of different lands. He is always a curious and open thinker, although not the fastest at picking up social cues. He feels much sympathy for those he meets in suffering, but is not completely naive and knows he cannot help everyone.

Religion: Tarkhan believes in the Dawn Father and Dusk Mother, but sees them more as ideals to strive towards rather than absolute objects of worship, and believes the more warlike tribes of the steppe have misinterpreted or modified their ideals to fit a life of conflict and wanton slaughter.

Habits: On occasion his damaged ear and tail may twitch of their own volition. The young Keeper trains every day with his steeds to improve their coordination and his mastery of his unique aether.

Notable Features

Common Appearance:His clothing is often partially worn from his daily activities and may pick up dust, blood, or a combination of the two. He always carries the faint scent of bird dander, something a person versed in animal handling may pick up quickly. His hair is even darker than his charcoal skin, is wild and wavy, and always seems to have a wind under it, even indoors. It is braided with a pair of feathers from his Muu Shuwuu.

Scars & Markings: A slash running down across his right eye and another across his left cheek, two long, parallel slashes running from the top of his left breast to the bottom of his right breast and a nicked tail and right ear.

Voice: He speaks with a quiet, mellow voice, which betrays his relative youth. Due to the necessity of understanding other cultures in his tribe, he was taught how to read, write, and speak in both old Xaela and common/Eorzean, being proficient in both. However, he speaks with a distinct steppe accent, and some figures of speech still escape him.

Clothing: Almost always wearing something practical yet light, he arrived in Eorzea in his tribal garb but can now just as often be seen in other outfits, he favours the colour red.
