Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Good
Morals: Despite being shaped in the sands of the Coliseum, Mirion has a strong sense of what is right and wrong, even though his efforts to do 'what is right' and ensure the 'right thing' happens tend to be a bit on the wrong side themselves. History

Birth

  • Born to a fisherman and a seamstress in Ala Mhigo, Mirion doesn't particularly remember much about his first home before the empire took it. Fleeing to Ul'dah, the Black family found themselves strangers in a city where being a stranger was both a blessing and a curse.
  • Mirion's father fell to a mugging only a few years after they arrived in Ul'dah, leaving Mirion and his mother to fend for themselves.
  • Surviving mostly on meager wages earned by his mother's skills with a sewing needle, Mirion found himself working as a courier for anyone who needed something delivered in Ul'dah.
  • At the age of 17, Mirion fell deeply in debt to the Platinum Mirage, and to protect both himself and his mother, agreed to begin a career in the Coliseum.

The Gladiator

  • For eight years Mirion trained and fought in the Coliseum, meaning he wasn't present during the calamity, nor did it affect him anymore than your average person. Instead Mirion made his mark in the sand, spilling a wealth of blood, both his own and others.
  • Fighting man, beast, and anything else pitted against him, Mirion quickly made a name for himself in the sands.
  • Finally having worked enough to pay his debts (though unknown to him, his mother helped greatly) Mirion was 'freed' from his life in the Coliseum to pursue his own ambitions, whatever they might be.

The Present

  • Finding that his only talents now lie in either making blades or wielding them, Mirion has decided to hire himself out as a sword or shield for hire.
