Toola Roola (13th Sun 4th Umbral Moon (August 13)) is a boisterous and spirited young Lalafell vagrant of Limsa heritage. The daughter of a seafarer and a barkeep, rather than help out with the family business when she came of age (not that she would have made a very good waitress anyway), Toola left Limsa Lominsa to seek her fortune and, after a stint as a drifter, now works as part of Axiom Adventures and Expeditions as its Steward.

Appearance & Personality

Toola isnt particularly impressive by any standard, with plain features and copper coloured eyes framed by ginger hair trussed back or cut in whatever scruffy manner she can manage. What little there is of this Lalafell is lean muscle hidden under well worn clothing that usually sports its fair share of holes.

The trappings of a once wandering ne'er-do-well and her boisterous demeanor mean that she's not afraid of social situations and will happily chatter with just about anyone who approaches her, though she will show hesitation in approaching individuals who seem of ill temprement having seen more than enough bar fights that have started that way.

Toola is unschooled and comes from a relatively poor background, reflected in her accent, behaviour and general lack of etiquette.

Biography

Childhood

Toola is considered by her parents to have been an unexpected blessing, having come at a time when both money and lodgings were a persistent worry for the newly wed couple. Vanoola worked long hours behind the bar at a simple tavern whilst Desket spent long spans away at sea with any crew that was hiring at the time, earning just enough between them to put food on the table and a roof over their head. With the birth of their daughter, they assumed that money would be tighter than ever and that Vanoola's ability to work would come under question, but as luck would have it...it was not to be and Vanoola found herself mother to a surprisingly quiet and well behaved child, able to carry her babe in a sling as she worked. Regular patrons both surly and soft took a shine to the little sprog, taking it in turns to bounce the babe on their knee or regail her with tales of the high seas during those first few precious years of her life.

As soon as she was capable of menial tasks, Toola was helping Vanoola around the bar, cleaning the tables and countertops after hours so that her mother might have a moments peace after a day of roudy customers and the bar fights that always followed them. The child never got under the owner's feet or caused a fuss, and if anything her sweet little face and wiley knack for pulling on heartstrings encouraged customers to tip a little more generously than they otherwise would, amused by her wobbly attempts at the Limsan step dance and surprised by how many truely rude shanties the child knew. Her childhood was never going to be conventional, but it was hers

Current

Having wandered for most of her young adult life, thrillseeking and wavering between jobs that she never managed to keep for more than a moon, Toola has found new purpose as the Steward of a small Free Company and seeks to broaden her knowledge of the world.
