General

Uhlah is somehow able to indirectly communicate with Halone and do her bidding. This can come in many shapes and forms; visions, hallucinations, dreams/nightmares, and even direct speech from Halone herself; though this cannot be proven. She is also a very determined healer, dabbling in herbs and plants as well as being a generally good White Mage.

Pahve Fefovu (Mother, Deceased) (Miqo'te, Keeper of the Moon)

Uhlah's mother. They never had a very strong relationship, and Pahve was extremely protective of her growing up, as the Halone marking on Uhlah's thigh brought ill tidings. But nothing went wrong with Uhlah as she grew up, and as a result, Uhlah grew to resent her mother for keeping her locked away. So when she came of age, she left and came to Gridania to work under the Conjurer's Guild. Little does she know that her mother died only a small while ago as a result of illness. Muvi'tan, her brother, as yet to tell Uhlah, as it would only make Uhlah feel as if she had failed her mother.

Luhxah'tan Fefovu (Father, Deceased) (Miqo'te, Keeper of the Moon)

Uhlah's father. He died in the Battle of Carteneau, as a Flame Lieutenant. Revered as a hero, though Uhlah does not talk about him often and tends to keep her heritage a secret. Raubahn recognised her immediately as Luhxah'tan's daughter, though he respected her wishes to have her identity concealed.

Muvi'tan Fefovu (Brother) (Miqo'te, Keeper of the Moon)

Uhlah's older brother. Uhlah and Muvi'tan were rather close growing up, but Muvi'tan was not able to stay with Uhlah for very long as they grew up. Uhlah wishes they did not have to part, and misses her brother dearly, but he is now serving where her father once did with the Immortal Flames, as Sergeant Fefovu.

History/Timeline

Childhood

₪ Birthmark of Halone

Uhlah was born in 1552, during the rule of Theodorac in Ala Mhigo. Though she was far away from this, living in Mor Dhona at Revenant's Toll with her mother and father. When it was discovered that she had the mark of the Fury herself on her body, the family decided they would do all they can to protect her. Uhlah's father was a private in the Immortal Flames at this point in time, just starting his work and training. As Uhlah grew, she began to exhibit ice powers and she would tell her parents of weird dreams she had and voices she was hearing. She was told to keep these a secret from people, her family fearing that it could be dangerous for anyone to know if this knowledge got in the wrong hands.

₪ Education

Growing up, Uhlah's parents were poor, but they decided to devote a lot of money into saving for Uhlah's education. And, sure enough, with her mother doing extra work and her older brother being able to do rounds within the town, they managed to get Uhlah homeschooled. They refused to let her receive public education, as this could lead to the reveal of her birthmark. Despite this, Uhlah received very good homeschooling and became rather smart rather fast. During this time, approaching teenhood, her teacher noticed that Uhlah had a nack for nature and healing, and that her aether readings were abnormally high.

Teenage

₪ Curiousity

Uhlah began to get more curious about herself and the outside world, and tried to sneak around more often, growing uncomfortable with her family's overprotectiveness. Her brother would often help her sneak out to practice swordsmanship with her, but Uhlah was never good at it. She was far better with a lance. At one point, her brother was injured and Uhlah summoned the power to heal her brother's injury and called upon Halone to help her reduce swelling on her brother's leg, but despite this, her family found out, and her mother locked her away for a while, only letting her out to get supplies for their family store. Even then, her mother had people keep an eye on her. Uhlah felt very trapped.

₪ The Battle of Cartenaeu.

The devastating news of her father's death came. Whilst many lost people in the Calamity, Uhlah and her family received personal news from General Raubahn himself by letter, of the death of her father. Uhlah felt it was her own fault; that if she could have stood by her father's side and used her inate abilities to heal him and his men, then maybe he could be saved. She resented her mother for keeping her trapped all her life. And so, after this news came and things had settled down, Uhlah finally decided to do what she had to do to be free, and run from home. She wrote to her brother weekly, updating him on her travels until she reached Gridania and settled there, becoming a part of the Conjurers Guild in hopes that her abilities may be honed and she can save more lives to atone for her father's death.
