Biography- Vinid Tuon's Early Life: He was born into a family of great means, one of several children, Vinid is the oldest. The Tuons are known locally for their many high quality crafts and talented artists. His early life began with an education in many disciplines, although it became clear that he had a special talent for the Lance. At the age of 10 his parents went on an expedition to a far away land, unknown to Vinid at such a young age. He was left in the care of his Aunt and his older Cousin where they continued to educate him until his teenage years. His younger siblings were sent away for a number of years during this period to relatives across the land so they could be educated in many disciplines not available in their home town. At the age of 13, he began to show an interest in alchemy and was given lessons by a Great Uncle of his, who's talents were rarely surpassed. Unfortunately, Vinid's skills in alchemy only disappointed his Uncle, and after being a student for 3 years, he was dismissed and returned to his loving Aunt and Cousin. Being aware of the now 16 year old's interest in lance work, Vinid was given a full time tutor in the art of the Dragoon. He excelled greatly at his studies, quickly reaching the strength of his master in just a few short years. At the age of 21, his great uncle vanished, leaving behind a cryptic note with instructions to give the estate to his oldest living relative still within the town, Vinid.
- The year of his Great Uncle's disappearance, was also the year of his Mother's return. His father had chosen to stay behind, and continue his field work. With the many stories his Mother told him of the amazing places of Eorzea and of Hydaelyn, Vinid began to feel wanderlust. He left his new found business and wealth in the care of his Aunt and Mother, and set out with his Black Chocobo and trusty lance to begin his adventure.
