P E R S O N A L I T Y

W'rhika is a kind and polite man, albeit a bit reserved. Often seen either sitting in silence or napping, it's hard to imagine the man was once a soldier. He has a fondness for solitude and secrecy, and rarely if ever answers questions regarding his past. If he does answer, it usually is with vague answers. Despite that, he is always willing to give advice if asked, sometimes without being asked, and will not hesitate to help anyone. It is very rare to make him laugh, though he smiles constantly. It is even harder to drive him into aggression, but any threats to his siblings will be met with an arrow between the eyes. He's especially protective of the youngest of his siblings, Leih and O'yhuh, even though the former is unaware of their relationship and the latter is constantly hiding from danger. He is also very courteous and almost flirty, having learn from his father how to behave around women. That said, he is the commited type and will not cheat if he is in a relationship.

A more keen eye would notice that W'rhika shows clear signs of depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, having been one of the survivors of Carteneau. Recent loss has made him even more protective of his remaining family.

A P P E A R A N C E

'rhika is tall side of the spectrum for a Miqo'te, with a lean, muscular body and tanned skin. He seems to be in good health, aside from his blindness, and can be found exercising often. His hair and fur is rich brown. His tail is fairly long and like all his siblings it seems to be furrier than normal, a trait passed down from their father. Rare to see is the fact that he is covered from head to toe in scars, as he rarely wears anything that will show them.

The most striking factor about him are the bright green eyes, slightly dulled since he was blinded. They give and almost playful expression. He does have fangs, which is a trait more commonly seen in Moonkeepers, despite the fact that he is a pure Sunseeker.

W'rayen Nunh ( ♥ ✖ ) - Father
"I still do not understand much about you, Father. You kept all of us in the dark about who you were. Now the mysteries are coming to light and none of us are ready. I remember you as a good man, a good father... And yet something tells me the more I look for answers, the more I will find that I know nothing of you. I want to continue believing you were the hero I remember, but if you are not, I rather know the truth. I just hope you can forgive me." All his life, W'rhika saw his father as a hero and honorable warrior. A former Dragoon and one of the Nunh, W'rayen had many women and many children. Despite that, he always gave time to help raise his family, making W'rhika have many fond memories with his father. Over the years that contact slowly disappeared until it stop completely. Father and son reconnected when Leih was born. Though W'rhika has an older brother, it seems W'rayen trusted him more and shared with him some worries concerning his safety, his mate's and his newborn daughter. When W'rayen was killed three years later, W'rhika began investigating more about his father. The more he found out, the more questions he had, and probably will continue to have for the rest of his life.

W'lana Ashia ( ♥ ✖ ) - Mother
"I did not know you... I do not even know how you look. I wonder how your voice sounded and if you loved music as much as I did. I wonder the color of your eyes and how bright your smile was." W'rhika never met his mother, W'lana dying just a few days after he was born in an attack by dragons. No one ever told him much of his mother, only that he was her first and only son, and that she had been loved dearly by W'rayen. She was the reason W'rhika became a dragoon, and also the reason he decided to leave the order.

Soriale Nulham ( ♥ ✖) - Step-Mother
"It has been long since I thought about you, step-mother. The ones in the tales are always cruel, but you were the exception. You treated me as if I was your child, even when I was a brat to you. I regret it so much now. I guess you never know what you have until it is taken from you." Feeling like Soriale had taken his father away, W'rhika treated her poorly for many years. She always seemed to understand and instead of return the aggression, she smiled kindly and took every insult with patience. After the birth of Leih, and being old enough to understand more, W'rhika actually began to bond with Soriale. When word of her death reached him, he actually mourned his step-mother, and for many years has felt guilty for not giving her a chance earlier.

Atherion Dreliere ( ♥) - Little Rion
"Like his father but smaller, always in trouble. I hope wherever you are, you are watching your son, Atheloux." Athrune's son with Altani Olkund, W'rhika has helped raised the boy once in a while, teaching him archery, much to his mother's chagrin, and telling him stories of the days Athrune and W'rhika served together. He's very fond of the child and in return Atherion calls him uncle.

Gareaux Dreliere ( ♠ ✔) - Patron
"I know little of your ways, and I rather not learn them, with all due respect." There is little to be said of W'rhika and Lord Dreliere. They interact when needed and when not they prefer to remain apart. Dreliere resents the Miqo'te for surviving where his son died, and W'rhika resents the Elezen for pushing Athrune away for many years after the former Dragoon broke his engagement with a fellow noble. There is however a certain respect between them. W'rhika is grateful Lord Dreliere has seen his siblings kindly. In return, Lord Dreliere is grateful W'rhika helps Lady Dreliere cope with Athrune's death. They may never admit it, but in certain way, they see each other as father and son respectively.

Elise Dreliere ( ♦ ✔) - Patron
"Unlike your husband, you are kind to me. I cannot fathom why, but I welcome it. I am your humble servant for life, and yet you call me son. Why such a good woman is married to such a proud man is beyond me, though perhaps you who see beauty in everything know best." Lady Dreliere shows favor to W'rhika, perhaps because he is similar to her deceased son. W'rhika loves to play for the woman and enjoys conversing with her. Having lost his mother at a young age, Lady Dreliere is the closest he has had to a mother ever since. When W'rhika's wife died, Lady Dreliere was the pillar that help him through the harshest months. W'rhika admires Lady Dreliere's ability to see beauty in everything, and through her guidance he has been able to leave behind much of his woes. Some like to say there is an affair between him and the noblewoman, but there is none.

Hemin Bekker ( ♥ ✖ ) - My Light
"You were my world, my Light. You took a blind, broken man and made me believe perhaps I was more. All the dreams we had, the future we planned died with you. I am lost since the day you left me. I wonder if you are bringing light to the next life as you did for my life. Perhaps that is why the Gods took you from me so soon." Hemin was the woman that nursed W'rhika back to health after the Calamity. With much patience she guided him to see even blind he could do much more and taught him different ways for him to fight without his sight. She was even able to teach him archery. At first they could barely talk to each other, but the bond between them grew stronger day by day until finally they became a couple and marry. Much to their delight Hemin found out she was pregnant and they decided to live in peace, forgetting anything to do with war. The bliss was short lived as Hemin fell deadly ill and died in her fifth month of pregnancy. W'rhika has not spoken to anyone about his wife or unborn child since she passed.

Athrune Rhun (Atheloux Dreliere) ( ♥ ✖ ) - Best Friend
"You were my friend, my captain and my brother. I trusted you with my life and the life of those I love the most. The world is lesser without you, my old friend. I pray the Twelve bless me with the wisdom and courage to carry on what you started." W'rhika and Athrune met a few months before Carteneau and became friends almost instantly. When the Miqo'te found out it was Athrune who was raising his two lost siblings, he called it destiny to meet the man. Through his friendship with the Ishgardian he was able to once again be part of the life of O'yhuh and Leih, telling them stories of the past and his parents. When he found out the truth that Athrune was hiding, he felt some anger, but understood the situation and soon both men were back to their anthics, as if they had been friends all life. Both were especially known to get drunk together and start fights, only for a young Leih to pull them by the ear back home. Since Athrune's death, W'rhika has hold to his greatsword, waiting to one day give it to a more trained and experienced Leih. Or even O'yhuh, should the boy ever decide to fight.

W'kayah Tia ( ♥) - Older Annoyance
"Ah, my dear brother, you made life an adventure. Which is why as much as I celebrate your visits, I celebrate double your departures. I wonder how many nephews and nieces I have out there considering how much like father you are." The two brothers are very close, being both the eldest of eighteen children. While W'rhika is quiet and calm, W'kayah is much more adventurous and fiery. They did everything together as children and as adults their bond remains. The only difference is while W'kayah sails the seas, acting the role of dashing pirate and swaying the hearts of women in every port, W'rhika prefers a much more modest and quiet life. They keep in touch by letters and linkpearls on almost daily basics.

Leih Rhun ( ♥) - Little Sister
"How you are so much like the mother you never met will forever astound me, little one. All the things I wish I could share with you, but my oath prevents me. Please, forgive me..." W'rhika loves his sister dearly and is very protective of her. He searched for her without stopping for half a decade and then acted just as a friend of her adoptive brother to protect her. After the Calamity, he wanted to seek her, but because of his wounds and recent blindness, there was nothing he could do. Now he wonders if there would ever be a day were he can tell her the truth. Regardless of that, she sees him as a brother figure and that is more than enough. W'rhika is especially worried about Leih's wanderlust and how somehow she is constantly getting in trouble, both traits she got from their father. He does enjoy her antics. He is also well aware of Leih's depression, but has not been able to help her as he is fighting his own.

O'yhuh ( ♥) - Yu-yu
"You cannot live your life under a bed in fear, Yu-yu. You are young and with a future. You should be enjoying it, not hiding from it." O'yhuh, being the youngest of the eighteen siblings, is still mainly dependent on W'rhika for most things. Unlike Leih, the boy is aware of his blood ties and will often seek the advice of either W'rhika or W'kayah, making both elder brothers worry if the boy will ever be his own man. Worries aside, W'rhika loves the boy dearly and is willing to put up with the annoyance of having to indulge him every time they go out by scouting ahead to make sure it is safe.

Holo Wolf ( ♦) - Little Holo
"You are so curious, little one. I wonder what is your story. Something tells me it would be worthy of a ballad, should I ever decide to write music again. I do pray you have learned the meaning of privacy by now, though." With an awkward situation as the beginning of their friendship, followed by a questionnaire, W'rhika is still very confused about the young Au Ra. Despite that, he sees her as a kind girl and feels comfortable talking to her. That said, he would never follow her through a window every again. Not even for a million gil.
