Appearance & Personality
Waryn has a young, very kind looking facial features without any notable scars on them. His skin is very pale, showing visible freckles over his cheeks. His hair color is very bright white color, usually allowed to grow long and hang loosely at the sides of his head. Both of his eyes are of bright red color. His body is well toned, showing a fair amount of physical fit even for his line of profession. He's often seen wearing his bright white robes or coat. Pair of glasses always set on his nose. He has a decorated rapier and tome always set on his hip alongside his satchel.
Biography
Childhood
Waryn was born into poverty, living in streets at outskirts of Sharlayan with his sick mother only known as Felicia. Waryn was given his own name, adopting his mother's first name as his family name due to his mother's apparent lack of own. By the time he was at age of six, his mother's illness got the best of her and she eventually perished, leaving Waryn orphan with his mothers last words informing him of the existance of his lost elder brother. Following the death of his mother, Waryn decided to do his best to survive. And so he did, using the smarts he had naturally gained over the years to get by with stealing and deception. As he started to reach the age of nine, his reputation as a local street rat was well known until he eventually encountered a professor of the local academy, a miqo'te scholar known as Ranko'a Dicentra who displayed particular interest to Waryn's ability of tactical thinking and decided to "convince" Waryn to come with him to be his apprentice to offer him a better place to stay along a chance for proper education.
Having Waryn in 'volunteered' custody within his personal chamber areas in one of the Sharlayan Academies, Waryn showed initial disrespect and uninterest towards Ranko's offering of teachings. However as he displayed many of his abilities to prevent Waryn's multiple escape attempts, his curiousity began awakening and he finally began to agree on being taught. Becoming both Ranko's apprentice and akin to his adopted son at the side of the other adopted orphan, elezen Roshnax Rethul, who Waryn came to soon treat like an elder brother to himself.
Teenage
Years passed as both Waryn and Roshnax learned from the ways of Ranko, becoming skilled scholars at early age. They were taught defensive and offensive magicks that could be incorporated in various different manners, complimenting their added education in art of fencing. However as time went by, both Ranko and Roshnax had began displaying forms of dangerous illnesses, giving Waryn inspiration to begin studying medical chemistry and magick to be able to help his remaining family. He eventually went through the education cycle in the academy, gaining a higher citizenship and possibility for better living.
Starting to reach age of nineteen, he began displaying more and more formidable amount of skill with which he wielded both tome and sword. He was still studying medical science extensively, studying articles of known diseases to find inspiration to help with conditions of Ranko and Roshnax, of which former had already began to edge on verge of death due to the proggression of the illness.
Having now reaches age of twenty-three, Ranko's health finally got too lethal and he passed away, leaving the adopted siblings on their own, their mentor's and surrogate father's final words prompting them to leave out into the world to travel and make name for themselves once the time was right.
Another three years passed, Waryn had began efforts of helping the local orphanage in their efforts with his earnings from his new position at the academy. While Roshnax helped him with the medical studies when ever he could, having started to harbor the intention of leaving Sharlayan in the coming years.
Eventually, news came out telling of a doctor who possessed the cure for Roshnax's condition, a Miqo'te Chemist known as Archim Kimaro, this knowledge was what drove Roshnax to leave Sharlayan to go on search for the miracle doctor. Waryn promised to eventualyl join him, having then been stuck to his work and aiding efforts, as trouble kept constantly rising about in his area of work.
Present
Waryn was eventually contacted by Roshnax, informing him of his failure of finding the doctor who had been recently deemed missing. His health had receeded onto dangerous levels, prompting Waryn to leave his posotion in the academy and travel to Eorzea to aid his adopted brother in his efforts. Eventually realising the state Roshnax was in required him to be sent back to Sharlayan to be taken proper care of as he continued to try and find a form of cure from Eorzea, his search is still in motion.
During his travels in Eorzea he met new people, and eventually became to know a hint of his biological elder sibling's existance, rekindling his curiousity for a chance of finding out why his brother had left his mother alone before his birth, starting to get tangled into a deep mystery about his brother's location and the case's relation to his old family's state and his father's death long before his time.
To this days, his searches and studies are going on, using his situation as a chance to further be able to see the world and learn new things.
