Character
General
Y'rhika was sired by a nameless Nunh in a sect of the Jaguar tribe in the Thanalans. Despite having grown up in arid climates he is not as tan as most Seekers, though this was probably due in part to how early he left his tribe. After wandering through to Gridania, Limsa Lominsa and the regions in-between, he found himself at Ul'dah where he took up arms in the Pugilist guild and trained his body in combat.
Appearance
When Y'rhika left his tribe his hair was longer than it is now and tied off with silver beads on either side of his head. Recent events made him decide to cut it, and now it sits fluffy and white on top of his head. His eyes are heterochromatic, one blue, the other golden, and there are several scars located on various parts of his body. Though he was given the option to remove the facials tattoos from the local aesthetician, Y'rhika opted to keep them as a sign that he was still a member of his tribe despite his departure. He can normally be found in monk's clothes when out in the field doing freelance work, but when at rest in Ul'dah or in any other region he usually tends to sport more comfortable clothing, durable enough that he can move freely and still throw a punch if he needs to.
Personality
It is his greatest fear to find himself all alone, unacknowledged and without a friend by his side. Therefore, Rhika does his best to try and make friends with as many people as possible even if his attentions are unwanted, and it's not an uncommon thing to look his way and see the Seeker offer up a gentle smile in return. Continued eye contact may prompt him to come over and start chattering away about any inane thing, though as of late he seems to have calmed down considerably and rarely approaches without being prompted. He's naturally inquisitive and, although having traveled the world for some time, remains somewhat uninformed as to the workings of the world. Marriage, love and relationships are still topics that confuse him, as are the customs and traditions of other races within the realm. However, he does his best to try and understand and even encourages others to try and explain it to him, not wanting to be seen as stupid or incompetent because of his lack of knowledge about any particular subject.
More than anything, Y'rhika hates being labeled as an idiot. He understands his worldview is somewhat limited and he strives to fix it, though if others refuse to explain the particulars of a certain subject to him he becomes bitter. This is partly due to the fact that while he was in the tribe, the visitors there would often come and speak about him and his kin as though they were animals in a menagerie. The sensation of being like a caged animal, doomed to a life and death within the tribe as a mere tia, did not sit well with Y'rhika and he went to the nunh for permission to seek out his fortune elsewhere.

- Li'ur's cooking; everything else tends to be bland and underspiced to him.
- Sharing a bed with friends no matter how cramped it may be. This makes for very interesting (and painful) sleepovers where he wakes up hanging half off the bed, tangled in the sheets with someone's foot in his face.

Friends
Jhadzia Aliapoh - Y'rhika met Jhadzia at around the same time as he met J'elhd, and their relationship was... complicated, to say the least. Y'rhika did not understand any of the Keeper customs and traditions, and as a result he would occasionally rile Jhadzia's temper enough that she would refuse to speak to him, but it was only temporary. He considers her one of his close companions, and just when he had started to see her as a woman and not his friend -- perhaps something more than that -- she disappeared from his life completely, along with a majority of his friends. Stricken with grief, Y'rhika spent many months trying to find her before he gave up, and resigned himself to sleeping alone.
J'elhd Tia - A mute Seeker Y'rhika ran into during his travels, and one of his closest friends. Having come across Elhd being accosted by a monster too strong for a conjurer to deal with alone, Y'rhika leapt eagerly into battle and J'elhd's rescue. Although J'elhd could not speak, Y'rhika interpreted that as the Miqo'te simply being too shy to thank him properly, and has stuck by his side ever since. Half a cycle ago it finally dawned on him that the Seeker was mute but their relationship has not changed in the slightest.
Li'ur Nunh - Y'rhika met this Seeker when he was visiting the Pugilist's guild one day, and, eager to make another friend, tried to strike up a conversation with him. It did not go as planned and before he knew it, they were brawling on the floor like a pair of unruly children. Li'ur ended up resorting to unsavory means to get him off, and though initially shocked this did not deter the tia in the slightest in his pursuit of Li'ur's friendship. Gradually they began to spend more and more time together, although Li'ur's short temper colored most of their encounters with one-sided arguments wherein the Miqo'te would yell at him and Y'rhika would let him. Over time he began to realize that Li'ur said one thing while he meant something completely different, and the behavior piqued his interest enough to make him stay despite Li'ur's harsh words. He began to see Li'ur as someone he could come to and trust and, because of his nunh status, started coming to him when he wanted to learn more about being intimate after a conversation with another Miqo'te. Their relationship took an odd turn from there. Their occasional trysts left Y'rhika feeling -something-, but it wasn't until recent events that he realized that this was more than friendship that he felt for Li'ur. He still doesn't understand it, but he knows that Li'ur will stay by his side and, really, that's all he could ever ask for. That and the opportunity to "explore" his awakening sexuality, something that Li'ur is completely willing to do.
