The Basics
Yesunge was born into the Dalamiq tribe back in Othard, her family were fisherman. She grew up surrounded by water and learned quickly to love it and all that could be done with it. Sadly however as it often goes in Othard her family was killed by Garleans, she was left all alone. The tribe continued to take care of her until one day she left, never to return. She traveled for weeks, eventually finding herself in Eorzea. The last thing she could remember was onzes and onzes of snow until she collapsed, her entire world growing dark. She awoke several days later inside a small cave, next to a fire. A moogle smiled down at her, this began her new life in Ishgard. She found herself training to become a Dark Knight of all things, the moogle had given her a soul stone, it was filled with many dark deeds which often pulled on her sanity. In the heat of battle she'd often lose herself to the dark side, greatly enjoying inflicting the pain on others. Even to this day Yesunge often falls victim to her bloodlust, if one ever pushes her so far. Despite her horrible past she is extremely friendly and open, always willing to help others and protect the weak. She bears the sins of all those before her, and prevents the ones to come.
Sometime in her travels across Eorzea Yesunge had help creating her sword Xapahxyn, or Xyn for short. Xyn is sentient and Yesunge can often be seen mumbling to the sword, though it looks more like she is just talking to herself. This has caused many people to believe Yesunge to be mad, or crazy. She has a flying tadpole which she refers to as "Pauley". She can often be found at Costa del Sol enjoying a relaxing time at the beach, or stocking up on supplies in Ul'dah. On many occasions she will stop in The Quicksand to have a drink and perhaps meet a new friend or two. If she's in none of these places she is likely gambling away her time somehow at the Gold Saucer.
