Fleeing her tribe at a young age due to the harsh treatment she underwent, she was found by a trio of shrouded figures with similar appearences. They would lure her to Mor Dhona before striking and knocking her out cold, awakening her later to torture and drain her body and soul of all of it's aether for their experiments. However, they would preserve her and have a different intent entirely.

For years, she would awaken to cryptic messages sent to her via a linkpearl, sending her off to do various, seemingly odd-jobs, but in truth, she was being sent from place to place to slaughter everyone that crosses her path, and when done, she would be captured and tortured once more. She never understood what was going on until much, much later.

Appearance & Personality

Crazed and psychotic, she seems to have a very, very clingy personality when it comes to social interaction. Anyone that even looks at her she immediately treats like a close friend, showing affection and adoration without considering any borders one may have for strangers. Once they make their lack of interest (at the time perhaps) apparent, she reals back just as heavily, feeling betrayed and resenting the individual with no intent on forgiving them.

Later in her life, due to the heinous torture she endured from Dead Cell, her entire body was covered in bloodied bandages, the wounds she received from the flogging and garroting of her captures seemingly so deep and thorough, they were unable to heal. This has caused her to render clothing useless at this point, opting to wear things like a loose shirt or boots if anything at all. Pants were out of the question.

Biography

The Beginning

Growing up, R'yusha was the runt of her tribe. As such, she was treated with a particular harshness from her parents and siblings, and even others about the village. Her sisters pushed her around and picked on her, her mother seemingly unconcerned with her and even her sire didn't seem to interested in her existence either. This left the kitten feeling quite depressed and lonely, desperate for attention and doing anything to attain it somehow.

Due to this, from time to time, she would be sent out on to hunt down 'snipes'. While she eagerly did such hunting, unbeknownst to her, the creature in question was, in fact, completely imaginary. She'd go out and hunt for hours and hours on end, though upon her return, she would be scolded harshly for not fulfilling her duty.

It would be one snipe hunt, after hunting for several hours, that she decides never to return to her village, denouncing her tribe and turning to a feral lifestyle, though it wouldn't be long before 3 shrouded figures found her traveling abroad. They seemed mysterious, and each of them had very similar shapes and composure, their only difference was their attitude. One seemed level-headed and the most 'normal', while one seemed to be in a perpetual state of anger, the other seemingly overly nice and understanding.

They accept her and she immediately becomes attached to them as they lead her to Mor Dhona. They walked through the desolate wilderness though once she finally questioned where they were going, the 'mean' one bludgeons her in the back of the head, causing her world to go completely black, her question never to be answered.

The Turning

She would awake as she was tortured harshly. Bled, garroted, beaten, whipped, injected with special kind of ether that not only kept her alive but kept her very aware, heigtening every sense she had, causing the pain she felt to be amplified. She couldn't scream nearly loud enough to express what she felt, though after several days of this, she would finally slip from conciousness, finally drained of everything they could squeeze from her.

However, instead of discarding her like the others they've done similar to, they realized she had a heightened threshold of absorption due to her prior harsh upbringing, prompting them begin to perform a ritual on her body, placing a seal within her that kept her alive, but instead of expiring like normal, she was nigh immortal as long as she kept absorbing aether from the environment and, mostly importantly, other mortals.

When she finally awoken, she would be awoken to the pinging of a linkpearl. When answered, it would be a strange voice giving her an odd job to perform. An example hail would be something like this:

"Greetings! This is P'aya with the Lominsan Welcoming Committee. You've been assigned to throw a welcoming party for a ship docking along the coast in deep south La Noscea. Be sure to dress fancy, and be discrete! They want it to be a surprise!"

Par the message, she would go to the various locations, but instead of doing exactly as they said, she would feel the overwhelming urge to begin to slaughter anyone and everyone in the designated area. As she did, she would draw in their aether as they fell to her might and skill. After the deed was done, she would leave, only to be hit with some sort of sleep spell or tranquilizer, and when she awoken, she would be awoken and effectively 'killed', only to awaken to another linkpearl pinging, her memory wiped as if none of it happened.

The Act

One such instance would lead her to an secluded hut in the middle of the Shroud. Approaching it, she'd open it, spotting a miqo'te female walking up from the back of the hut. Without any warning or pretense, she immediately got the jump on the unsuspecting female and slashed her throat, dispatching the female quickly as she fell over onto the floor. She immediately blinked for a moment, not one to kill anyone innocent or without reason, and immediately began to look around, her eyes falling upon a oak mask laying on a table. Couerlclaw. Satisfied that she killed someone affiliated with the local poachers, she turned to leave, only to hear a young voice crying out.

She turned about and to her horror, there was a young miqo'te child, shaking it's mother, trying to 'awaken' her, but to hopeless avail. Yusha stared in disbelief at this predicament, though she clutched her blade and did the only thing she could think to do to a child that was robbed of it's guide through life.

Moments later, Yusha would stumble from the house, nauseous, her blade tinged with even more blood as she found a nearby tree and began to vomit, horrified and sickened by what she just did. A moment later, one of the shrouded figures from her childhood, the 'normal-one' appeared nearby, questioning her act. She attempted to explain that she did what she did because the child didn't deserve to live a life abandoned and alone like that, so she did it a favor. However, she was immediately accused of trying to act as a judge and jury, when she was only intended to be the executioner.

This silenced Yusha, prompting the shrouded figure to go on to explain that this taste of 'free will' will cause her to rise to greater heights, now that she realizes she's not bound by anyone's immediate will except for her own. However, it will lead to a harsher downfall. Once she had this prophecy explained to her, once again, as usual, her world went black....

The Fall

After the incident in the black shroud, she would take to her missions with a newfound finesse. She wouldn't be bound to just slaughter any longer, but instead, she made a game of it, seeing how boldly and quickly she could dispatch her targets, making a dance routine out of it, and even at some points melding in with those she would reap, befriending them before carrying out her intentions in an even more brutal fashion that before.

These new methods caused her to absorb more aether and, as a result, she was tortured even more harshly. She began to awaken with unhealable scars etched across her body, even ones that wouldn't close or stop bleeding. She'd apply bandages to them and move on, though as time went on, they became worse and more abundant.

With this newfound lease also came a realization that her 'contracts' also began to become innocent in nature. Originally, it seemed to be targeted toward unsavory groups, particularly the Garleans but also included poachers and pirates, but they also began to encompass innocents such as adventurers, merchant caravans and the like. She'd even wake up to a message on her linkpearl, only to realize she wasn't even wearing it after the message had played, but instead it was laying on a nearby countertop. The voice would also begin to sound a lot like the shrouded figure's own.

Once her captors caught on to her killing innocents, they'd wait until one encounter where she performed a mass slaughter aboard of a ship out in the middle of the ocean before capturing her and torturing her harshly for her crimes, intent on finally killing her off. She was awoken to this message:

"This is the Ul'dahn Cemetary Society. The headstone you ordered has been carved and is ready to be picked up at the Ul'dahn Arena at high noon. Don't be late, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!"

When she arrived at the arena, she was slated to face-off against the then-champion of the arena: A gold-armor cladded miqo'te wielding a large axe. The battle would brutal, they exchanging blows to the spectacle of the audience, but one cleave from the champ would fell her, causing her to crumble and clutch the open would across her midsection while the overseer determined her fate.

She, against all pretense, would be allowed to continue to live as two shrouded figures entered the arena to carry her away. She'd be returned to her captors and tortured for the last time, except this time, when she would otherwise be killed off for the last time, a voice came to her, saying over and over "You're not dead yet. Wake up.".

After a moment, she began to mutter "I'm not dead yet." much to the alarm of her torturers as she slips back into the world of conciousness. In this seemingly aetheric-anabolic state, she broke from her bonds and slaughtered her captors, and proceeded to walk toward her freedom, killing anything and everyone who stood in her way, including guards, torturers and other aether-drained subjects. This set the facility on high alert as a mass exodus was performed. However, during her escape, she came across a familiar sight: The gold-cladded gladiator that fell her prior. She swore her revenge before a door would close between them, separating them once more. For now.

The Final Battle

For the next sun, leading up to the Calamity, she would travel abroad, making a game out of becoming a sort of freelance assassin, simply entering bars, hearing a name of someone who someone speaks ill of, and hunting them down like it was some sort of sick sport. She wasn't paid, she wasn't even ordered to do so, she'd just go and kill. Eventually she picked up on "Gold's" scent which lead her to Ul'dah. She was around but instead she ran into Tessa Jalloh. She was tempted to slay the female to hopefully draw out her nemesis, but something was familar about her; She shared stark similarities to the shrouded figures she knew from her time of being captured and tortured. Realizing there was more to the female than she could comprehend alone, she spared her, speaking of such to her before finally darting off. She would reveal herself to her under the alias "Silver".

Time would pass, and the battle of Carteneau would soon be under way. She decided to not take part in the battle but fate would have it so that she'd stand in the path of "Gold" as she rode toward the great melee to take place. She'd immediately stop her, wanting to fulfill her destiny, her final order, though was immediately told that there were no more orders, that she was hallucinating this entire time. This came as a shock to her, though she took her aggression out on the female that fell her before.

The battle raged on but one slip would give her the upperhand, pouncing on top of Gold and attempting to stab down into her, finishing her off for good. However, in this moment, Dalamud would crack open and the resulting shower of meteors would send one smashing into the pair, obliterating them.

...or so we assume...

Kelaynu Myshurin : Her mortal enemy.
Tessa Jalloh : She seems to be comparable to her prior captors of her youth, and share the same voice of the ones that prompt her to murder. Yet, to her, she seems way to adorable and innocent to desire to orchestrate such things. There is something amiss about her.
