Her black hair is often kept tied up, the tips dyed red. She never lets her hair grow out longer than what it is, and never cuts it any shorter. Occasionally, on days where she didn't try to cover them up, multiple scars can be seen on her face. A knife mark across her left cheek that connects with a similar cut from just under her right eye, running down the length of her face to her jaw. A stone wall upon first contact, Zana barely lets any sort of emotion cross her face when she's around someone she doesn't trust implicitly. Around her friends and Company, she becomes a completely different person. Smiling, joking around and generally just trying to get along with everyone around her. What she lacks in her height and size is often made up for by the veritable arsenal that she often carries with her. An assortment of pistols are often seen at her sides, and a rifle half as long as she was is often out on display in a holster on her back. Due to complete chance, however, she was given an opportunity to get to know her better after catching her out and around the Company's house in the early hours of the morning. Said encounter lead to the discovery of a mutual interest in firearms, a significant propulsion in their friendship. The discovery prompted the two to become partners, working on machinery and weaponry through long hours of the day. It started out as a business partnership, someone to discuss ideas and plans with and to finally have someone who could point out the flaws, the potential design changes that could make it work better and a general boost to her own morale and work. Over time, however, it started to become more than that. Zana found herself drawn to the Xaela more and more, doing her best to spend as much time as she could with her. Naturally, she tried to bring up the designs and work they were doing to cover her rising interest and frequent visits. Eventually, through some rather interesting circumstances, the two finally came together. Zana couldn't imagine being with anyone else, and would happily keep Nakhu as her partner in crime for the rest of her days. ● Kaiya Ailbhe – Something of a motherly figure to Zana, Kaiya found her wasting away in the Limsan streets and tried to pick her up onto her feet. At first, it was simply because she needed someone to do her dirty work for her, espionage and the like. In return, Zana would be given food, and a means to survive. She gladly accepted, taking on every task given to her and performing to the best of her ability. Years would pass like this, and Kaiya would eventually grow to care more and more for Zana, as she did her. She taught her how to read better, write, and how to properly understand the world that she lived in from a standpoint of a true Scholar. Zana constantly makes mention of the "Thousand debts" she owes Ailbhe, a remark towards the years she spent practically raising her. If it weren't for Kaiya, she'd have never been able to survive. Put simply, she is eternally indebted to her. Everything she has, and everything she will have, came from the single moment of Kaiya's simplistic pragmatism. ● Bennett Cooper – Over time, Cooper has become more and more of a sibling for Zana. When she first met him, there was not a single bit of trust. He was a trickster, through and through. Over time though, the constant pranks and the general optimistic outlook started to win her over. Now, Zana does whatever she can to try and support him. Some days she sees him as one of her closest friends, confiding in him things that she had been unable to tell anyone else. Others, as the little brother that she never had. Through one of the darkest times of her life, he was there trying his best to make sure that she could see the bright side of things. A small beacon of light to hold on to and protect her. She would do everything to protect him, as he did everything to help her.
