Appearance

Hair: Starkly white, to the point of seeming unnatural, and with the faintest hints of blue. As a "dedication" of sorts to hers and Garen's daughter Roysia and how the toddler always calls her mother "Fluffymama", she's started to leave it in rather curly, wavy tufts that frame her face and drape over her shoulders. It's a far cry from her old hairstyle, which was normally kept out of her face by a hairband or hat of sorts. Now, she just lets her glasses catch the fringes of her shortened bangs, since they aren't as annoying in the means of obstructing her field of vision.

Eyes: A pale violet, with darker, bluish-purple limbals. According to her mood, her eyes range anywhere from a stark greyish color to a more vibrant, almost iris shade. In some lighting, her eyes even look they'd be more blue at first glance.

Skin/Complexion: For an Au Ra, her face is very clear and almost bereft of scales. Were it not for the claw-like patches on her cheeks or the slender, draconic-like patch traveling down the bridge of her nose, one could mistake her for a very short Hyur were it not for the slender aural horns or long tail. Her skin, while once very pale, has since been tanned to a light olive from spending years under the Thanalan sun.

Build: She's short for most races but tall for her own, standing it at roughly 5'2". Curvy, a bit overweight due to her penchant for snacking on tarts and sweets. It's easy to see that she could be a mother. Lily does try to keep in shape, however, which is why she jogs or runs everywhere that she can, but she can only take so much before giving in and curling up in bed or in the bath for the day.

Misc: As a doctor, Lily prefers to carry around a staff solely for the purposes of extended, aether-based treatment. Most of the time, she's seen carrying a large messenger bag and miscellaneous pouches strung about her waist, which contain poultices, basic first aid items, needle and thread (good for patching up clothes and wounds), as well as other objects of various size and importance. To say that her bag is lore-breaking "hammerspace" is not too far off the mark, but most of the time this is only effective for comedic situations.

Personality

When one can peel her away from her obsession with books and reading, they'll be apt to find that Lily is actually a very naggy worrywart of a personality, who loves bad jokes (and sometimes is prone to join in on the eye-rolling fun) and sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. Once she gets to talking, she's very cheerful and polite, and warm to those she considers among her closest kin. With strangers, she will speak politely and friendly though not as candid (unless, somehow, someone lands a few drinks in her). While in the presence of people she finds distateful, there is much grinding of the teeth and setting of the jaw, coupled with the occasional glare that lasts overly long. She tends to not speak much in front of those she has kept at arm's distance or greater for a reason, and will let others speak in an effort to not say something she may later regret.

As a healer, Lily has an innate sense of duty and finds herself disregarding the elementals' will on the battlefield--using aether-based equations and geometrics to heal both ally and enemy alike after a battle. As an officer of the Maelstrom, this has caused her to butt heads with a few of her peers and superiors and has caused some short-fused strife between her and others, to the point that she was considering an 'early retirement' or transfer to another Grand Company for quite some time. Apparently, the Flames are still taking in able-bodied adventurers....

The Fireborn Adventurer's Guild

The Fireborn Adventurer's Guild/Free Company was founded by then-lover Garen Ashe and herself a few months after the raid of the Garlean-occupied space Castrum Meridianum at the end of the Seventh Umbral Era, spurred on mostly by Lily's surprise pregnancy and a need for a permanent place of residence due to such. After finally claiming a home and a place of work for their budding free company in the Goblet, they were soon joined by many new members, some of them being old friends of Garen's -- Atty, Giles, and Laerad to name a few; and eventually would be joined by others of note, namely the "little brother" of the group, Altonio, and Lily's former midwife and doctor inspiration, Enla--the latter of which came around due to the birth of Lily's daughter, Roysia.

Nowadays, the free company's hustle and bustle has died down, with a few members taking their leave and more joining on. Zuzu, and more recently Goro and Aeth, to name a few, have decided to make their home within the company. While still run by Garen, who makes all of the executive decisions for the guild, Lily is his second-in-command and the diplomat, who finds herself doing most of the paperwork that her husband can simply not be arsed to do. It's really anything but a simple life for Fireborn, with a good majority of its remaining members still being quite the hotheads...but Lily wouldn't have it any other way.

Family, friends, and Acquaintances

♥ Garen Ashe: Lily's long-time lover and now husband, as well as the Commander of the Fireborn free company. People often wonder how two people as culturally diverse as these two came to fall in love, have a child, and eventually be married--if you ask them, you'll probably get two different stories! Lily admires Garen's strength but also that, behind all that gruff Highlander exterior, there lies a heart of gold and a sweet tenderness that makes her heart melt. She'll never say that with Garen in earshot, though!

Z'attana Mitnu: Quite possibly one of Lily's best friends inside of Fireborn. The Miqo'te is fiery and brash, and definitely "blows shit up first and ask questions never", but it's that spark that Lily enjoys. She feels Atty brings vibrancy to the guild house, even if she's afraid the Seeker will blow it up eventually.

Altonio Salaphonte: A fellow guildmate, and one Lily regards as a little brother. She frets after him constantly because of his frequent disappearing acts, knowing that he's prone to get in some sort of trouble, even though it's common knowledge he can take care of himself. Secretly, her and Garen have a betting pool going about if he and a certain other guildmate are going to get together, and when.

Giles Wolfsbane: An eccentric Lalafell whom she was proud to call a friend. He unfortunately lost his life at the battle of Vishap on the Steps of Faith, and every day, Lily beats herself up about it; to the relief of most, it's been less and less as of late. She still misses the little guy, and refuses to take a single step into his room for fear of the memories.

Milliardo Blackwing: A fine Maelstrom officer and Warrior, one that Lily called one of her best friends pre-Calamity. She strives to be as good a Lieutenant as he was, and is the dominant cause of why she judges her skills so harshly and holds herself up to extremely high expectations. Currently been on the Maelstrom's MIA list since the Battle of Carteneau.

Curtis Anseldam: A flirtatious Hyuran Bard, one of her best friends alongside Milliardo and Garen. She believes that he was one of the major factors of her and Garen becoming closer. He was commanded to escape with her during the Battle of Carteneau, but the Garlean airship they were on blew up, and they were separated in the blast. Currently MIA since then.

Roysia Ashe: A young Auri claiming to be her daughter--which is odd, considering her Roysia is only a summer old. But she fits the genetic pattern--taller than a normal Au Ra, bears Garen's hair and her eyes, and information about the two that hardly anyone knows. The girl is a mystery, and one Lily is nervous to unravel.

Thiji Higuri: A Lalafell whom Lily came to know through unknown means, but the two seem to be very close friends. His tenacity with his mythril/mythrite empire is contagious, and Lily is often wondering how he has time for anything else. It is also rumored that he is Lily's Arcanist mentor, and the one who taught her how to focus her abilities into healing, rather than hurting, and molded her into a near-career Scholar.

ºFactoid One: It's commonly known throughout the Maelstrom that Lily is a notoriously terrible cook, despite how much she tries to practice. Her superiors often use her failed attempts as a way of "coercing" more stubborn prisoners into talking.

ºFactoid Two: As a survivor of the Battle of Carteneau, Lily (like possibly most adventurers from that day) has mildly infrequent bouts of PTSD, spurred on by the thalassophobia (fear of being on or in the open ocean) she developed during the last days of the war, due to the airship a friend of hers failed to attempt to commandeer as an escape was blown out of the sky.

ºFactoid Three: It's commonly said in the Fireborn company house that Lily is the reason for all the sweets disappearing so quickly. She has a notorious sweet tooth, even though her addiction to sweets comes back to bite her in the form of weight gain; especially now that she isn't as active as she used to be.

ºFactoid Four: While a White Mage main, Lily's healing basically behaves as if she were a Scholar with a staff. She uses aether-based geometrics over the elementals' will for fights where she can't bring out her medical supplies, and her staff is actually made of alchemically-charged metals (being somewhat of an alchemist herself).
