It was formed when both he and V'ieh Vhessi recited the First Oath to one another, unofficially forming the Vigil. It wasn't until some time after Minako Obinata joined the Vigil that the Oathsworn Vigil took the full form of a free company. As of recently, there are two sides to this free company; Brother/Sisterhood and a Business. The business is presented by the name of "Oathsworn Solutions" and it generally deals with the procuring or creation of items, ranging from materials to armors and weaponry or even more exotic items. At its core, however, The Oathsworn Vigil is a brother/sisterhood that is centered around the idea of self-preservation and growth. I swear onto thee my wrath to those who would harm you. I swear onto thee an Oath that transcends all bonds; an eternal Vigil so that none may overtake you. I will be your friend... your brother... your father... your son... your husband. I will be your sword and your shield. Now and always." - Ferathir Dawnbreaker It is this very Oath that was used by Ferathir when he first formed the Oathsworn Vigil alonside V'ieh. While there are a lot if implications by the words recited, the idea ultimately is to convey a bond of love that transcends all formal titles. The Oath, is of course adjusted accordingly by the one reciting it, but the idea of it always remains the same. Pledge's Oath There is no formal pledge that is used specifically when an individual pledges themselves to the Oathsworn. Instead, the pledge is entirely made up by an individual with the goal of conveying a promise; that while they do not fully comprehend the Oath in its entirety they care enough about the Oathsworn to learn more about it and devote themselves to one day be able to take up the First Oath and mean it. This, however, does not mean that the Pledge itself is meaningless in comparison. In truth, it is held in high regards. But it is an "easier" alternative to those not one-hundred percent certain about what it means to be an "Oathsworn." Business Goals To expand and grow, both as a company and a brand.
